“I want my vote back, Mitt. Give me back my vote.
“In 2012, I voted for this insufferable establishment icon, this inept goof who the Democrats wish every Republican would emulate. Some nights, I wake up sweating and screaming when I relive it in my nightmares. I should have taken my ballot, lit it on fire and flushed it down the Schiffhole.”
What a delicious opening for an opinion column that exposes and skewers the REAL Willard “Mittens” Romney.
“Mittens” is the GOP Establishment’s answer to the sad old hag, Hillary What’ser name. Romney still can’t figure out what happened to all his ‘fans’ in the liberal media who loved him so when he was carrying out their agenda in Massachusetts while posing as a “conservative Republican”.
I could not more emphatically endorse columnist Kurt Schlichter’s opening, “I want my vote back, Mitt. Give me back my vote.” DLH
We championed Romney as nominee after supporting Santorum in the primary. It was out of the will to believe and the assurances of trusted people Romney brought or bought onboard when it was clear he would be the nominee and efforts needed to be consolidated. Certainly Newt Gingich was acceptable . More so it was a situation of who our opponent was – Barack Obama. Anybody but him. But talk about ego, Romney confused that with a people being enamored with him. Now that is delusional.
It is indeed another craw-cleansing column by Schlicter – highly recommended. R Mall
