Biden is being called “president-elect” because of MEDIA projections of him winning sufficient electoral numbers in the states still uncounted or in dispute (grey) to give him the 270 Constitutionally necessary. This is media manipulation because properly the term should not be applied until the the electors vote on December 14th. Sufficient count challenges and lawsuits have already been filed to make media presumptions premature, unprofessional, manipulative.
Projections are that of the grey states North Carolina has been called for Trump and Alaska will undoubtedly be as well. Pennsylvania is an absolute mess as is Michigan and frankly the rest, with corruption rampant. In 2000 Gore took many weeks to concede. This is not over.
Other aspects to keep in mind: tate legislatures are in charge of elections. An electoral vote tie sends the presidential election to the US House of Representatives but each state is offered only one vote according to its delegation. Republicans by the numbers hold the edge in that respect as they have the majority of representatives in the majority of states. Democrat numbers in the regular operation of the House, where individual House members count rather than delegations, are the result of their current overwhelming majorities in a fewer number of states.
