This is not a V’PAC position just an early huzzah from one editor. Recognizing there are many possible substitutions, some perhaps improved, the only issue I have with the roster is a significant assured place for Ted Cruz if he wants one. Certainly McConnell should take his leave but we also understand the prickly nature of the Senate. I hope Trump would see the strength of the roster and historic opportunity for him as Speaker. His revenge (actually justice) would be more attainable. A Trump 2024 run with DeSantis as VP is of course eminently supportable but I do not think the accompanying drama is necessary or frankly AS winnable (although certainly winnable) apart from extensive fraud again.
