A couple of days ago we posted and commented on an AP article. Scathing AP Fact – Check: Obama Spins Health Insurance Claims. Further research has indicated that the original AP article was picked up by major and minor newspapers far and wide. The story originated on the heals of a major Thursday speech by Obama promoting his health care law.
Reading our post you will be reminded that the AP pointed out numerous serious distortions in Obama’s speech. Given that the QC Times has editorialized its devotion to Obamacare aka Affordable Care Act (ACA) , not wanting to see any retrenchment of the government takeover of healthcare, admonishing Republicans for “assaults” on ACA and to no longer get in the way, we ended our commentary with this musing:
Somehow we do not expect to see it in the QC Times. But we could be surprised.
We were not surprised by the QCT. The masthead editorial referred to in the paragraph above was issued on July 6th and essentially used some of the Obama talking points challenged by the AP when Obama made similar claims in his speech. The AP is far and away the QCT main wire service source. Indeed it has an internecine connection. But the QCT devotion to Obamacare would not allow it to publish a wire service article critical of Obama’s veracity regarding Obamacare . . . and by implication its own as regards what it has led people to believe about government run health care.
To its credit the Argus – Dispatch ran the AP story on Sunday, page A10 as seen herein. The original AP story appeared on Thursday. But from the QCT on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday or today — nothing, nada, zip.
By the way – what do doctors think of Obamacare ? Read this article from none other than the Huffington Post. It is another one we do not expect to see in the QCT.
* mastheads were added to news articles in order emphasize responsibility.

I just read that several celebs will be pimping Obummercare in the coming months. I’m just glad the NFL had enough sense to turn down the regimes request to do the same last month. The NFL knew doing so would hurt their brand badly. You can’t polish a turd.
