Having Technical Difficulties

Having technical difficulties — WordPress issued a new version (3.9) which promised to have some useful improvements.  I downloaded it but have struggled all day to get it work right.  All the editing functions are missing in the mode I use. HTML function sort of works but that is clumsy and they do not all work either. Need to get the problems resolved before I can do much. Check back as I will limp along if nothing else. R Mall
