Smoking Crucifix?
Is the relic of a Marxist priest gifted to Pope Francis in Bolivia by the head of that country the smoking crucifix of the Pope’s essential Marxism? Of course the Vatican denies ANYTHING ideological about this episode. But this quote contains just two words which I think betrays much of what this is all about. I suggest that Pope Francis shares the view that there’s a whole lot of “synergy” to be achieved when Catholicism and Marxism get together! After all, mutual goals right?

It seems a rather Jesuitical reply to us.

It is fitting. Both the good priest and Butch and Sundance advocated taking from the rich and the poor alike. That’s what thugs and bank robbers do when they steal payrolls and savings. Marxists also steal from everyone’s payroll and savings, and worse yet peoples hope and freedoms and a nation’s chances for prosperity.

Throw in Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Minnesota and another Iowa and you get about 260 million acres. The equivalent of most of the Plains States has been federalized. Obama could call that grab “The National Monument to our Buffalo Heritage” directive. We would have included Illinois in the 260 million acres but nobody wants Illinois with Cook county attached.
