Asking Mark Cuban to run third party was not to appeal to anti-Trump conservatives

imageedit_3_5487701576We gave too much credit to Mark Cuban, billionaire and a star of Shark Tank,  for being libertarian, or something.  Turns out he is just stupid.  It is now revealed in a report that he has said, if the election were held today, he would vote for Hillary.

A couple of days ago we posted: Those third-party Presidential choices — they’ve got to be kidding      It was a reference to attempts by Never Trump/ Never Hillary people to find a candidate to run third-party. According to reports Mark Cuban was one of the personages approached. He rejected the idea saying it was too late.  The attempt, with the best remote hope of success, is to throw the election into the House of Representatives. We assumed the persons sought would be individuals conservatives might theoretically vote for.

We thought it was simple poor vetting as regards Cuban, but on further thought, maybe they are looking for someone to appeal to Democrats, and are unconcerned about conservatives.  Some conservatives have jumped the shark but it is unlikely others would have jumped to the shark, knowing what is known.
