Dominant liberal mainstream media bias is real and . . .

  • . . . they are working over time to demoralize Republicans,* do a number on Trump, and downplay anything about Hillary.

An ever-so-obvious case in point of reporting bias is AOL which has been owned by Verizon, this countries largest wire (cell) service provider, for about a year now.  AOL had previously acquired Huffington Post and so that is now part of Verizon. Huffington Post injects its screaming liberal influence to on-screen news coverage at log-on to AOL subscribers.  A couple of weeks ago it was announced that Verizon is going to buy Yahoo and merge it with AOL. That would make it about the third largest e-mail service provider in addition to its leading cell/wireless services.

With Huffington and its proclivities as Verizon’s continued content provider (no announcement of dumping it) and the possible expanded reach (injection) of such content with the Yahoo acquisition  — well we doubt objective truth will be expanded.

Consider these screen grabs from this morning of AOL’s (Huffington Post’s) news. One or more were up last night as well we believe.  Consider it in context of a poll that has been out for at least 24 hours from Reuters that shows that the gap between Hillary and Trump has closed, post her convention bounce. Why all the stories about panicked Republican “leadership?” other than to demoralize the Huffington Post’s sworn enemies – conservative Republicans —  and to create a band wagon / inevitability  effect for Hillary.  Why does Republican leadership play into it?

Oh, maybe we should also mention (via Salon):

Hillary Clinton rakes in Verizon cash while Bernie Sanders supports company’s striking workers   Verizon paid Hillary $225,000 for speech and poured money into Clinton Foundation. Executives give to her campaign

See the latest Reuters poll below screen grabs.  One would think AOL/Huffington Post would report information from their friends at Reuters.Screen Shot 2016-08-07 at 10.54.08 AM

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s lead over Republican rival Donald Trump narrowed to less than 3 percentage points, according to a Reuters/Ipsos opinion poll released on Friday, down from nearly eight points on Monday.

About 42 percent of likely voters favored Clinton, to Trump’s 39 percent, according to the July 31-Aug. 4 online poll of 1,154 likely voters. The poll had a credibility interval of plus or minus 3 percentage points, meaning that the results suggest the race is roughly even.
