What a lovely sentiment,* Paul (Ryan). This “display of “unity” is particularly nauseating given current events. And one is especially moved by the prayerful comments by the “devout Catholic”, Nancy Pelosi.
And I am truly surprised that Maxine Waters didn’t give an invocation before the game. She could have even used the script she reads from in the House:
“I just think the American people have better understand what’s going on,” she yelled, “this is a bunch of scumbags. That’s what they are. Who are all organized around making money.”
