“A Republic, if You Can Keep It” B. Franklin

Oh what do old dead white men know

“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”― Edmund Burke

“Whilst men are linked together, they easily and speedily communicate the alarm of any evil design… They are enabled to fathom it with common counsel, and to oppose it with united strength… Whereas, when they lie dispersed, without concert, order, or discipline, communication is uncertain, counsel difficult, and resistance impracticable…. When bad men combine, the good must associate; else they will fall, one by one, an unpitied sacrifice in a contemptible struggle.”*

WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO AROUSE THE VAST MAJORITY OF ‘ORDINARY’ AMERICANS TO ACTIVELY OPPOSE THE RADICAL LEFT DEMOCRAT PARTY AS IT PROCEEDS TO DISMANTLE THIS GREAT COUNTRY?

• Maybe if those Americans were honestly informed on what is happening, it would help

• Our nation’s Judiciary and a Free Press were the ‘unbreachable’ lines of defense which were designed to protect against the evil movement which is devouring America’s values, principles, traditions, and system of true justice

• Instead, these two entities are leading the destruction of this “Beacon of Freedom for the World”!

• In a “mini-survey” of acquaintances, neighbors, and associates… all very sensible, busy, typical Americans… I was recently astonished to learn that few of them were aware of the New York state government passing a law to permit ‘infanticide’; that there was hardly any appreciation of the implications of the “Jussie Smolett incident”; and little understanding of the potentially dangerous ramifications of the relentless ‘impeachment’ efforts of the Democratic Party’s House majority.

From the moment that Donald Trump was elected by the American people, a relatively small, but powerful group of people set out to remove him from by any means possible. It was an effort begun even before President Trump’s election…before it was considered a strong possibility.

Tragically, plans and actual actions were put in place and had begun to be activated. Most tragically, those plans and actions were created by the very institutions which were supposed to protect the nation and its people from such a thing ever happening in this great nation.

Although many people now know it, , an alarming number of them refuse to believe it, many more refuse to accept such a horrific reality, and, very alarmingly, a ‘critical mass’ of evil activists actually favor the fact that the overthrow of government of the United Sates of America was conceived of and initiated by a corrupt president and his Constitutional appointees.

A further tragedy is that the entire evil undertaking was and is supported by much of the leadership of the nation’s historically most respected institutions…the Federal Justice structure, our government-run education system, and the media , in its various forms…news, opinion, entertainment.

Even more tragic yet, is the nation’s traditional ‘two political party’ system in which ideas can compete in a quest for a stronger, free-er, moral society, has been replaced by a ‘unitary’ political system devoted to a single ideological goal… absolute rule of the masses by a small elite!

When, not if, the Democrat Party succeeds in overturning the 2016 election and, in effect, overthrowing a legitimately elected government, however, it will ultimately not be due to the efforts of America’s corrupt institutions, but to the failure of “enough good people doing little or nothing”!    DLH

“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”― Edmund Burke (in a letter addressed to Thomas Mercer).

That’s the short version, attributed to Burke. A longer version reads as follows:

Whilst men are linked together, they easily and speedily communicate the alarm of any evil design. They are enabled to fathom it with common counsel, and to oppose it with united strength. Whereas, when they lie dispersed, without concert, order, or discipline, communication is uncertain, counsel difficult, and resistance impracticable. Where men are not acquainted with each other’s principles, nor experienced in each other’s talents, nor at all practised in their mutual habitudes and dispositions by joint efforts in business; no personal confidence, no friendship, no common interest, subsisting among them; it is evidently impossible that they can act a public part with uniformity, perseverance, or efficacy. In a connection, the most inconsiderable man, by adding to the weight of the whole, has his value, and his use; out of it, the greatest talents are wholly unserviceable to the public. No man, who is not inflamed by vain-glory into enthusiasm, can flatter himself that his single, unsupported, desultory, unsystematic endeavours, are of power to defeat the subtle designs and united cabals of ambitious citizens. When bad men combine, the good must associate; else they will fall, one by one, an unpitied sacrifice in a contemptible struggle.

–Edmund Burke, Thoughts on the Cause of the Present Discontents 82-83 (1770) in: Select Works of Edmund Burke, vol. 1, p. 146 (Liberty Fund ed. 1999).
