H R Block has been in various financial services businesses a long time, operating under that name.
Now Jack Dosey says he can call his venture ‘Block” because the company is involved with block chain (and sells financial services by the way)
So then two brothers Jake Johnson & Bill Johnson, who have just opened a drug store can call themselves Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceuticals because well they sell drugs, maybe mix a few, even though those drugs often compete with what that long established company sells.
With Dorsey — it is “corrupt is as corrupt does”, “do as I say not as I do”, “rules are for the little people” . . .
