“Truth Dies in the Darkness With a Pillow Over Its Screaming Face”

The title above is a great line from Stilton Jarlsberg at his go-to site Stilton’sPlace.com

The Washington Post big lie about Trump and Georgia election officials led  Republican squishes in this state who should have been more circumspect to make statements essentially abandoning and disenfranchising Iowa voters in the face of obvious voter fraud and other illegalities in other states (some now adjudicated giving credence to Trump’s legal position).

Their credulity as to media narratives regarding that and events of January 6th, are pathetic. For God’s sakes their comments many days after the “day of infamy for pathetic politicians” largely regurgitated Trump-hating and leftist narratives.

One can only conclude by their comments that they never listened to or read Trump’s speech to the assembled throng that day and only read outlets that deplore Trump and his supporters.  Trump’s supposed betters (in their self-judgement) have been weak-kneed in the face of the greatest political scandal in American history and yes that includes Chuck Grassley and Joni Ernst and some other high profile Iowa Republicans.

Admission Accomplished

In a classic example of being “too little, too late,” the Washington Post (“Truth Dies in the Darkness With a Pillow Over Its Screaming Face”) has printed an eensy-weensy little “correction” relating to a colossal lie they spread about former President Donald Trump.

The paper had previously reported that in a phone call to Georgia’s top elections investigator, Trump ordered the person to “find the fraud,” which the Washington Post implied meant “invent some fraud.” The paper also said that Trump told the official that she would be a “national hero” if she gave him his way. And once the Washington Post had reported this story, every other mainstream media source jumped on the bandwagon, appalled (but not surprised) by Trump’s underhanded attempt to screw with election results.

Only it was all a lie

A recording of the actual call has been made public, forcing the Washington Post to admit that Trump only “urged the investigator to scrutinize the ballots from Fulton County, Georgia, asserting that she would find dishonesty there” and that she had “the most important job in the country right now.” The alleged quotes previously attributed to Trump were works of (im)pure fiction obtained from an “unnamed source.” Which is a funny thing for the Washington Post to call its ass.

But what harm can a little made-up news do, really? Well, outside of being frequently cited as factual evidence in President Trump’s second impeachment trial.

Biden wokes up from nap

From ‘Fast Eddy in Michigan’, a V’pac reader:

When I drove to the UPS store today to collect mail I noticed flags were flying at half-staff and wondered what tragic news I had missed.  Then I learned that ‘Sleepy Joe’ had ordered them down because of the Atlanta murders.  Or maybe my information is wrong.  Perhaps flags were lowered because of the 5 fatal shootings in Chicago last weekend (and 107 year-to-date).

Another Vpac informant in DC reports:

Later in the day he wandered outside and asked his keeper, why won’t the flag go up any further?

Biden provided a path to the Presidency for the dimwitted yet conniving, enter Meghan Markle

Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, wants to be President, and why not, if somebody as clueless as Joe Biden can be made President . . .

Duchess of Sussex ‘already networking among senior Democrats’ source tells The Daily Mail

  • Proves royal inbreeding not so bad by comparison
  • Moochelle, Kamala, Susan REALLY jealous

Having heard the news, and shall we say, “having the Duchess’ number” a well-placed source revealed that the Queen responded:

A good name for Cardi B’s band: “Lil Vulgar”*

Com’on people, can’t y’all tell the difference between a “sensual song” and the “racist content ” of a Dr. Seuss book?

So you prudes thought there was something “pornographic” about our report on Cardi B and Thee Stallion’s Grammy Performance Sunday?

Well, you just don’t know a tender and loving “ode to female anatomy” when one is presented for your viewing pleasure as in CBS prime-time for children to see. Take in the splendor and imagery in the stage set.

Still think we were overreacting to the performance of their ‘blockbuster hit” song at the GRAMMYS Sunday? This Daily Mail  link is to an article that will show key portions of Cardi’s and “Thee Stallion’s” artistic rendition of “WAP”.            dlh

“The dueling rappers left little to the imagination in their ode to female anatomy, marking the first time they’ve performed the hit live.

“As for the song itself, it was the first time Cardi and Megan had performed the song live, as it was released in August at the height of the coronavirus pandemic, making it impossible to perform in concert previously.

“The song wowed critics and topped the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, but it was not even submitted for a nomination at the 2021 ceremony.
“Instead, Cardi and Megan are holding onto the track and hope to submit it at next year’s ceremony.
======
“Cardi B responded to the furore in a Twitter posting on Monday night.

‘Conservatives been making viral tweets comparing WAP to the banning of some of Dr Seuss books as if there’s any correlations between the two ….Well I can DEFINITELY tell some of ya ONLY read dr Seuss books cause ya mind lacks comprehension,’ the singer wrote.

‘When has a school made kids read the lyrics to wap? I get it wap might be a lil vulgar but stop comparing a sensual song to books that has RACIST content! How can ya not tell the difference?I see that common sense aint that common,’ she continued.”

*Then they would also rate an award for understatement of the decade. In case you were wondering “Rubbing Genitals”  had already been taken by a student group at Julliard.

So who makes these “Grammy” awards?

We guessed they were determined by sales. We were wrong. In some ways relieved but none the less disgusted in other ways.  The awards are determined something like the Academy Awards, by people in the industry by category, though nothing prevents one category of ‘experts’ from voting for a favorite in another category.  This Wikipedia entry we presume to be accurate

Grammy Award
Final voting

After nominees have been determined, final voting ballots are sent to NARAS voting members, who may then vote in the general fields and in no more than nine of the 30 fields. Members are encouraged, but not required, to vote only in their fields of expertise. Ballots are tabulated secretly by the major independent accounting firm Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu.[22] Following the tabulation of votes the winners are announced at the Grammy Awards. The recording with the most votes in a category wins and it is possible to have a tie (in which case the two or more nominees who tie are all considered winners). Winners are presented with the Grammy Award and those who do not win are given a medal for their nomination.

In both voting rounds, Academy members are required to vote based upon quality alone, and not to be influenced by sales, chart performance, personal friendships, regional preferences or company loyalty. The acceptance of gifts is prohibited. Members are urged to vote in a manner that preserves the integrity of the Academy and their member community. Although registered media companies may submit entries they may not vote in either round of voting.

The eligibility period for the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards is September 1, 2019, to August 31, 2020.

Rap “success” comprised of Rants, Raunch and porn rhythms

So only the supposed highest quality wins. Do read the lyrics ( dlh previous post) and discover the quality. There’s ya some great stuff making important emotional statements. Those that comprise this voting group, frankly the whole organization in allowing any credence to such rap and hip hop lyrics, are subversive punks doing absolutely no good.

By the way, what is more racist than building a stereotype of Black Americans as oversexed  and illiterate ??     R Mall

Damn! I missed the ‘Grammys’ again this year

  • Illiterate grotesque “artists” and their song lyrics celebrated
  • These are your betters America, the influencers that teach your children

AND A GOOD TIME WAS HAD BY ALL
Sunday night’s “Grammy Awards” show had something for everyone.

I hope you didn’t miss the “Grammy”: America’s “Culture” was on display!

Here are some of the many ‘great moments’ from what USA Today reported:

Lil Baby performs ‘The Bigger Picture,’ calls out Biden, police brutality

Lil Baby and Killer Mike’s fiery performance of “Bigger Picture” included a staged police shooting of a Black man (played by Kendrick Sampson), imagery from Black Lives Matter protests, a direct callout to President Joe Biden by activist Tamika Mallory, and narration by James Baldwin, capped by a haunting fireworks display. On a night with a generally relaxed, uncontroversial vibe, it was by far the most openly political performance.
————————–

Trevor Noah (If you don’t know who he is, you’re better off for it) Was the Emcee for this glorious event…and was he ever funny.

In introducing the ‘many awards-winning’ rap song by the lovely Cardi B and this year’s ‘hot chick’, Megan Thee Stallion, Noah said: “We’re all going to find out what ‘WAP’ stands for. If you have small children in the room, just tell them “it’s a story about a cat taking a bath.” (For you adults who don’t know what the song’s initials stand for…”Wet Ass Pussy”…clever, huh?:

Megan Thee Stallion* and Cardi B* bring ‘WAP’ to life

Megan Thee Stallion won three Grammys, including best new artist, and was nearly bowled over by Beyonce’s unexpected appearance to help her accept the award for best rap song for “Savage.” But she really stole the show with Cardi B for a live, electrifying performance of their hit “WAP” that featured backup dancers painted blue, a giant platform heel, a giant bed and dance moves that defied gravity. (“Dance moves” that defied gravity”…gee, sorry I missed that!)    dlh
————————

“Stallion’s” award winning rap this year is entitled “Savage”. Maybe not as clever and amusing as WAP, the lyrics are still ‘warm and loving’. Our previous commentaries on Cardi-b and WAP (including lyrics) are available here  and  here:

SAVAGE (lyrics excerpt):

I’m that bitch (yeah)
Been that bitch, still that bitch (ah)
Will forever be that bitch (forever be that bitch)
Yeah (ayy, ha)

I’m the hood Mona Lisa, break a nigga into pieces
Had to X some cheesy niggas out my circle like a pizza (yeah)
I’m way too exclusive, I don’t shop on Insta’ boutiques
All them lil’ ass clothes only fit fake booties
Bad bitch, still talking cash shit
Pussy like water, I’m unbothered and relaxing
I would never trip on a nigga if I had him
Bitch, that’s my trash, you the maid, so you bagged him, ah

I’m a savage (yeah)
Classy, bougie, ratchet (yeah)
Sassy, moody, nasty (hey, hey, yeah)
Acting stupid, what’s happening? Bitch (whoa, whoa)
What’s happening? Bitch (whoa, whoa)
I’m a savage, yeah
Classy, bougie, ratchet, yeah
Sassy, moody, nasty, huh
Acting stupid, what’s happening? Bitch
What’s happening? (Ayy, ah)

Eat me and record it, but your edge-up all I’m showing (ah)
I keep my niggas private, so his AP all I’m showing (baow)
Beefing with you bitches really getting kinda boring
If it ain’t about the money, then you know I’m gon’ ignore it
I’m the shit, ooh (ayy)
I need a mop to clean the floor, it’s too much drip, ooh (too much drip, ooh)

“Da Baby’s *#1 Hit!?

Number 10. DaBaby feat. Roddy Ricch, ‘Rockstar’

Points for trying something different. DaBaby turned his No. 1 hit on its head by bringing in a “Judge Judy”-esque gospel choir and violinist for a dramatic performance.

Lyrics excerpt:

I got a big drum, it hold a hundred, ain’t goin’ for nothin’
I’m ready to air it out on all these niggas, I can see ’em runnin’
Just talked to my mama, she hit me on FaceTime just to check up on me and my brother
I’m really the baby, she know that her youngest son was always guaranteed to get the money (Okay, let’s go)
She know that her baby boy was always guaranteed to get the loot
She know what I do, she know ‘fore I run from a nigga, I’ma pull it out and shoot (Boom)
PTSD, I’m always waking up in cold sweats like I got the flu
My daughter a G, she saw me kill a nigga in front of her before the age of two
And I’ll kill another nigga too
‘Fore I let another nigga do somethin’ to you
Long as you know that, don’t let nobody tell you different
Daddy love you (Yeah, yeah)

*We presume their parents did not supply the stage name but regardless their chosen monikers are illiterate along with their lyrics and sophomoric musicology. Indeed could any of these cultural icons pass a literacy test . . . do something other than gyrate to gibberish? To use the educrat bureaucratese, they ought to be classified as ESL – English Second Language. To be sure, they suffer from something “endemic” and “structural” and “systemic” — low expectations and liberalism’s many other corruptions. Horrifyingly their fans can’t be much better.    R Mall

Democrats trying to use obscure law to create vacancy on Scott County Board of Supervisors

  • When does dual membership on public governing boards become a conflict
  • Public input allowed during Supervisors meeting Monday March 15th, County Administration Building, 600 West 4th Street at 5:15 p.m.

Republican John Maxwell serves as a Scott County Supervisor, a partisan elected office, and also as a member of the North Scott School Board, a nonpartisan elected office.  By virtue of being an elected official to each he becomes a member of the Davenport City Conference Board, comprised of all the elected members of public entities that operate within (even if in part or overlapping) the bounds of the Davenport city limits. The Davenport City Conference Board oversees the Davenport City Assessor’s office, an office that effects tax assessments which affects income to the various tax supported entities comprising the Davenport City Conference Board.

Democrats are all aflutter smelling blood, petty little sharks that they are, because a strained reading of arguably irrelevant law by the County Attorney, a Democrat, says there is a “potential conflict” and raised the specter that Iowa judicial precedent requires that Maxwell’s status as a Scott County Supervisor is automatically vacant by a sort of forfeit that occurred when he was subsequently elected to the North Scott School Board.

The imagined vacancy on the Scott County Supervisor presents an opportunity for that position to supposedly be filled (until an election is held) by vote of the Auditor, a Democrat (interestingly a person under a cloud now on her way out, effective April 23rd) along with the County Recorder, a Democrat, and the County Treasurer, a Republican.  Dominating that group two-to-one the Democrats would thus be in a position to fill the Supervisors seat which would flip the complexion of that body from majority Republican now, to majority Democrat.  They could do a lot of damage while enjoying incumbency as regards the subsequent election.

This article at The QC Times is an attempt at straight reporting that sets forth some background that we needn’t repeat although it somehow neglects to fully analyze the partisan specter in this.  The article does mention the party affiliation of some of the players but not the alleged key ones – Auditor, Recorder and Treasurer or that the partisan make-up of the Supervisors could flip which we have no doubt underlies the motivation of Supervisor Ken Croken — an extremely partisan Democrat — in his paean to propriety and strict reading of the law (see QC Times article).

Scott County Attorney: Supervisor cannot serve on county and school board, citing conflict

Assuming readers are now up to speed on the political scenario and allegations we would suggest that Maxwell announce that he will recuse himself from voting or being part of a quorum on behalf one or another of the entities within the operation of the Davenport City Conference Board until the matter is clarified by legislation mentioned in the article or a serious investigation into the alleged judicial precedent, which we doubt is relevant or controls in the situation at hand.

The opinion of the County Attorney, which is a partisan elected office held currently by a Democrat (who announced his retirement after his term ends in December of 2022), has already demonstrated that his “close readings” of the law somehow exempt or make unactionable the fellow Democrat County Auditor’s fiduciary responsibilities as he also remains silent on her electoral malfeasance regarding the March 2nd  special election (Referenced in links above).

Supervisor Croken vacated any claim to being an arbiter of “propriety” by his responses (or lack thereof) to impropriety malfeasance from members of his Party.

The Biden jokes write themselves, and yet . . .

You’ve surely noticed. If you are a ‘fan’ of late night “comedy” shows…like Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, or Stephen Colbert, you’ve noticed that when Donald Trump was president every show by these guys, from opening monologue to closing commercials, was devoted to ‘jokes’ about Trump, with the purpose of demeaning him, making him look foolish or stupid, or incompetent, or even dangerous for America.

And you’ve undoubtedly noticed that there are no such ‘jokes’ or skits, or comments about President Biden. If there are any jokes he’s a part of, they are only to make Biden look good, or ‘clever’, or an all around ‘nice guy’ doing a difficult job.

As this article notes, according to many of these professional comedians and shows like Saturday Night Live, which was devoted to non-stop demeaning of Trump… often starring the nasty Alec Baldwin doing his amateurish Trump impression… it’s just darn near impossible to find anything about Joe Biden to make fun of…he’s just too darn competent, ‘nice’, bright, great for our country.

Well, V’pac would like to know if that’s what our readers believe. What do you think? Is there any possibility that there is something about Joe Biden that can be joked about, satirized, made fun of…ANYTHING??

If you think so, please let us know.        dlh

LAUGHABLE: Liberal Media Claims Comedians Just Can’t Find A Way To Make Fun Of Joe Biden

Who else, not long ago, would not call them loving parents

Joe Biden perhaps

Here my little child, go with the nice man

And maybe we mentioned before, that whatever the Biden regime says now, we don’t believe that putting their children under the care of dangerous, “not nice”, human smuggling networks and sending them on a perilous journey of hundreds of miles in order to achieve their own selfish goal is the mark of “loving parents”.  Perhaps at one time, as this story indicates, neither did then-Vice President, Joe Biden.       dlh

My, my, how ‘Joey’ Biden has changed his tune:

By Philip Wegmann at Real Clear politics.  Bold our emphasis.

Joe Biden called it a crisis and worse.

“When children travel hundreds of miles to reach the United States without their families, in the hands of criminals in the 21st century,” he said of unaccompanied minors surging across the nation’s southern border, “that’s a tragedy we all must take responsibility for.”

And, to clarify but not offend, he took care to explain who should take responsibility for that tragedy: “the country from which they come, and the country to which they are headed.”

He was the vice president then — June of 2014 — as he undertook a tour of Central and South America. There was no pandemic at the time. Unlike today, Biden also spoke at length about the illegal immigration challenge. Now, as president, he remains relatively mum, even as the Border Patrol detains a record number of kids and overall detentions in February soared to nearly 100,000 — the most in that month since 2006.

Is there a crisis at the southern border? That’s the question RealClearPolitics put to Biden last week as he walked out of the State Dining Room at the White House. “No,” he replied. “We will be able to handle it, God willing.”

The new president is not the only one who won’t call it a crisis. That same day and subsequently, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki has repeatedly described the situation as a challenge. “We’re going to approach this without labeling,” she said. “We’re going to approach this with policy, with humanity and with a focus on what we can do to keep these kids safe.”

In policy and rhetoric, the new administration has adopted a more compassionate approach than the previous one, relying less on deterrence. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas summed up that perspective recently, telling reporters at the White House that “loving parents” were sending their children to the U.S.-Mexico border.

“We are not apprehending a 9-year-old child who’s come alone, who has traversed Mexico, whose parents — whose loving parents — had sent that child alone; we are not expelling that 9-year-old child to Mexico when that child’s origin, country of origin, was Guatemala, Honduras or El Salvador.”Biden also talked about parents six years ago. But at a press conference in the residence of the U.S. ambassador to Guatemala, he said those parents were being “reckless.”

The children who would leave their homes in El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras, Biden told reporters at the time, were “among the most vulnerable.” He said the Obama administration estimated that up to 80% “rely on very dangerous, not-nice, human smuggling networks that transport them through Central America and Mexico to the United States. These smugglers — and everyone should know it, and not turn a blind eye to it — these smugglers routinely engage in physical and sexual abuse, and extortion of these innocent, young women.”

Placing children in their care, the vice president said, “is a reckless and dangerous undertaking for any parent to do.” Despite the warning, many didn’t listen. According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the number of unaccompanied minors apprehended would swell to more than 68,000 by the end of 2014.

More than 3,200 migrant children are now in Border Patrol facilities, CBS News reported Monday, as the administration struggles to prevent that number from growing out of control. Another 7,000 unaccompanied children, meanwhile, were transferred to the custody of the U.S. Office of Refugee Resettlement in the month of February alone.

Sensitive to criticism that they are putting “kids in cages” as they reopen detention facilities that operated during President Trump’s tenure, the administration has sought new ways to house migrant children. Reuters reports that the Pentagon is considering a military base in Virginia.

The White House has insisted that the majority of migrants will be turned away. The message has been muddled, however. “We are not saying don’t come,” Mayorkas said of those with asylum claims. “We are saying don’t come now.”

Asked to clarify that statement, Psaki blamed the last occupant of the White House. “When we say, ‘It’s not the time to come now,’” she told reporters, “the reason is, we are still digging our way out of a dismantled, immoral and ineffective immigration policy that was being implemented by the last administration that was largely based around funding for a border wall.”

It will take time, she added, to modernize the immigration system, an effort that includes “creating a pathway to citizenship.”

Finding a way to similarly accommodate those who entered the United States illegally was also the stated goal of the Obama administration. But Biden was nonetheless more pointed in his messaging six years ago. The Department of Justice and DHS were streamlining removal proceedings, he said at that Guatemala press conference. “Those who are pondering risking their lives to reach the United States should be aware of what awaits them,” Biden told reporters. “It will not be open arms. It will not be ‘Come on.’ It will be, ‘We’re going to hold hearings with our judges consistent with international law and American law, and we’re going to send the vast majority of you back.’”

The consequences of “non-crisis open borders”

Attention! All you “Loving Latino Parents” (a very questionable narrative used by open-border apologists)

Cartels Are Selling Children for $3,200 at Biden’s Open Border

Parody:
“The Drug and human smugglers are offering a special this week (Call it the “Biden Introductory Special Offer”?):

“Minor Children Smuggled Into USA…$3200…this week only!” (Loving Care and Attention Guaranteed…or your money back)

Safer than the human kind

This is not a joke! And is not intended to be ‘humorous’. Rather, we hope that it will attract attention and spark an awareness among the American people of an issue of the most serious dimensions.

Please go to the link above and, hopefully, as you read, hear, or view the news elsewhere in today’s media about the issues of “open borders”, “illegal immigration”,”humanitarian concerns” etc., you will have an understanding of what human horrors really underly what many are refusing to call a “crisis”!

Parents who sed their children across our borders using smugglers — are they really doing it “for the children” or with indifference and great risk of their well-being!        dlh

Border Crisis: CBP Fights Child Exploitation

(Excerpt)

The new demographic of families and unaccompanied children posed new challenges for the Border Patrol, as its facilities were built to process adult males from Mexico – historically the predominant demographic apprehended crossing the Southwest border. These single, adult males were easier to process and quickly returned to Mexico.

Caught in between are the children being exploited – by strangers and their own families.

“The children don’t have any say if they want to come or not. The parents are using that child as their ticket,” said Rivera, a parent himself. He also pointed to how families risk their children’s lives either by bringing those kids with them or by “renting” a child to a stranger who travels thousands of miles on a dangerous journey just to improve that person’s chances of being released into the U.S. “Why would anybody put their child at risk to do that?”

Slay Qween! I don’t like Oprah. I don’t like Meghan Markle. And I don’t like even imagining bowing to a Queen. How any red-blooded American could bow before her fellow man, I don’t know. So, I don’t feel sorry for poor little rich girl, Markle. P.S. Harry ain’t too bright.

Americans hate Critical Race Theory and all the Woke b.s. but they’re scared. As long as they’re too afraid to confront the bullies, the bullies will be their masters. Start saying no to this garbage. Make it uncomfortable for these weirdo tyrants to tyrannize. Disney is getting pushback for firing Gina Carano. Hilariously, Disney execs claimed at a shareholder meeting to not be biased or political. Laughably false. It’s heartening that people are putting pressure on them.

Obama cleaned out the military leadership (well made things miserable so they retired) and now woke buttheads run the DOD and are making the military feminized, weak, and pathetic. Militaries are around to kill people and win wars (and protect borders.) People are talking about China winning a war against us. Why would they need to fight us? They can just stop sending us tech and microprocessors and medicine and let us die out and kill each other. Taiwan, Japan, and Australia should be doing a gut-check, though.

Biden is hilariously bad as president. The Twitter talking heads say so much with their silence. CNN, of course, is trying to polish a turd, but man. Biden is awful. As Americans experience him and his policies in all their glory, I hope they enjoy it. Supposedly 80 million enthusiastic Biden voters are out there.

It was Millennial white men in the burbs who pushed this zombie (ed. note:Biden) over the line. Did I mention that sperm counts have declined 59% over the last nearly 50 years? They have. Look around at the young men you know. Soft. Feminine. By 2045, scientists are predicting near zero-levels of sperm. The West will kill itself one way or another.

Prediction: Investigations into voting irregularities will prove that Trump won. Studies are quietly ongoing and evidence is being processed and heard. Give it three months. Maybe less.

George Floyd died of an overdose. I’m 100% confident of that. I have 0% faith in the court to find justice in this case. So many potential jurors admitted to being terrified of being targeted if they found Chauvin et all not guilty. They’re right to be afraid. They should have moved the trial. There’s no way a fair trial happens in Minnesota.

Border Crisis: Videos abound of thousands of illegal immigrants pouring over the border. The ones who get stopped, are getting “processed quickly.” Over 3,200 children currently reside in cages. But they’re Biden cages, so it’s okay. Border hospitals are overwhelmed with COVID sick patients. These new residents will get free checks from the government. Texas is being particularly slammed. Purposefully.

Meanwhile, the liberal governors who crushed their own economies and allowed their cities to burn to thwart Trump’s momentum are getting billions in bailouts from Democrats. All is going as I foretold.

Do you know what infuriates me about this? Not that it’s happening. It was expected. No, what makes me angry is that the Republicans spent two years trying to thwart their own president who was working to enact conservative policy because they hated him and his voters. So when they had an actual super-majority and not this close thing that the Dems have, they did nothing. They aided and abetted the Democrats baseless Russia collusion b.s. investigation. They participated in the lie.

One can only conclude that McConnell and House leadership agreed with Democrats more than they cared about their own voters. What’s happening now bears this out.

Have you noticed any coherent messaging from Republicans about this $1.9 trillion abomination? No? Could it be because they’re happy about the foreign money, kick-back schemes that are back on the menu?   The same Repubs who discovered Trump is popular in the Party and now try to fund raise off of his name as if they were all in, fighting the threat of  the Bolsheviks and their steal of the election.  The lukewarm too often include Joni Ernst and Chuck Grassley who are  not as good at push-back as the  PR would pretend.

Retiring GOP Senators. Good. Bye. Let’s hope we get some Senators that have the ruthlessness of Chuck Schumer and Harry Reid and the principles of Ted Cruz and Rand Paul and Ron Johnson.

If the GOP ever gets the majority again, they better know what to do with it.
