There is salvation in Biden

Just add a little political quid pro quo

Illegal immigrants at southern border get a new supply of T-shirts from the Soros-AOC Left:

~~”Biden…you promised us free health care, education, and $2000 Covid-relief checks…and all we got were those lousy T-shirts ….~~

But buck-up boys and girls, all those things you asked for (err demand) are on the way . . . and more!

Distracting the Enemy: No More Clunky Man-shoes for our War-fighters

President Biden announces ‘progress’ in military on maternity flight suits, women’s body armor, and hairstyle requirements !

(He’s got ‘Defense Secretary, uh, uh’, “you know…the “general”…I call him…”you know the guy that runs the, uh, you know the building over there that has a lot of sides…the Octagon?; Where was I?…oh yeah…”)

Tight cockpits and G-Forces be damned! (Its not a baby anyway)

MATERNITY FLIGHT SUITS??? And what about those ‘snug’ quarters on U.S. bombers…Isn’t this why there were almost no pregnant female tail gunners or bombardiers in WWII?

WOMENS’ BODY ARMOR??? (“making good progress toward fitting women properly”…what exactly does President ‘Joey’ mean by “fitting properly”?))

“HAIRSTYLE REQUIREMENTS”??? (“Updating”) What about those helmets that leave female warriors’ hair frizzy and unmanageable.

“Tailoring combat uniforms for women” ?????????

“Tailored Women’s Combat Uniforms”!!!!!!!
You can’t expect female Navy Seals to go into combat with unshapely, drab outfits, can you?

– Fatigues by Vera Wang, Boho Chic, and Versaci; Boots by Prada; ‘Battle Bras” by Gucci and Chanel; Combat tampons by Kimberley-Clark.

And what about those “baby bumps” on our pregnant Green Berets…’close combat’ becomes almost impossible…is the Scranton Scrapper making “good progress” on that issue too?

Is it any wonder that women leave the military? President Biden seems to ask.

QC Times articles on Biden Border Crisis

Typical stories most days in the QC Times on Biden Border crisis.  Must read between the lines (see below)

___________________________________________

___________________________________________

I scanned the entire QC Times online yesterday morning and saw not a single story headline in reference to the ‘crisis’ at the southern border…not one!

Who believes there is little discussion about the topic in the QC.  People are concerned.

Does the  QC  Times have any thoughts about what is happening at our ‘non-existent’ border, about the “children” whose parents are willing to use them as pawns to reap the free stuff they can get; the effect that the Covid-affected illegals scattering all over the country might have; the (mis) handling of the border/immigration matter by the Harris Administration, etc???  When there is a story it is typically the AP effort to castigate republican governed state’s efforts to do something.

In the age of multiple stories a day regarding the “COVID” crisis except as regards the effect of Biden migration laxity you would think that at least that angle would inspire a few stories. But you see,  the border crises is a Democrat sponsored event. And that is the difference.  If Republicans had a convocation of any size with known or likely infected people we would hear about the “super-spreader event” with derision, (however false the story).     dlh with R mall

Dr Seuss — Live for the circus die by the circus

Live for the circus die by the circus

Titles/themes Dr Seuss missed:  How’s a Guy to Catch a Break?  or maybe: Cornelius Thought His Ticket Was Punched or, more to the point: Cancel This!

Yep Dr Seuss, the former liberal icon  has been canceled.  Apparently he had a lot of racist thoughts floating around in his head particularly in his early career and no matter how hard he tried to make amends later in life. Links/titles  here:

One Particularly Upsetting And Racist Dr. Seuss Cartoon Is Heading To Auction

Was Dr. Seuss Racist and Did NEA Ban Dr. Seuss Books from Schools?

And liberals promoted him back in the day as he was anti-Nixon  ((the 60’s 70’s Orange Man) and devoted at least one book/character/theme to the ecology/environmental movement (Lorax).

Liberals and his publishers didn’t  like it when pro-lifers would promote Horton’s memorable line “a person’s a person no matter how small”  but it helped sales and heck even none other than The One ( oblivious to so much) was quoted on recent cover pages promoting Dr Seuss:

Oh well, that was then, this is now!

Choose kindness with Dr. Seuss, Horton the elephant, and the Whos of Who -ville in this classic picture book about caring for others A person’s a person, no matter how small. Everyone’s favorite elephant stars in this heartwarming and timeless story for readers of all ages. In the colorful Jungle of Nool, Horton discovers something that at first seems impossible: a tiny speck of dust contains an entire miniature world– Who -ville–complete with houses and grocery stores and even a mayor But when no one will stand up for the Whos of Who -ville, Horton uses his elephant-sized heart to save the day. This tale of compassion and determination proves that any person, big or small, can choose to speak out for what is right. This story showcases the very best of Dr. Seuss, from the moving message to the charming rhymes and imaginative illustrations. No bookshelf is complete without Horton and the Whos Do you see what I mean? . . . They’ve proved they ARE persons, no matter how small. And their whole world was saved by the Smallest of All “Pretty much all the stuff you need to know is in Dr. Seuss.” -President Barack Obama

COVID competes with other death causes, does not supplant them

Scott Morefield writing at TownHall has been a champion of sanity regarding the Wuhan virus. He(and others) have reported information over the past year that should have brought critical perspective to policy makers and would have actually saved many thousands of lives from iatrogenic causes directly resulting from “public health” experts and political policy makers who have been incompetent, cowardly, slow to obvious realizations (stupid) or frankly, evil in their other-agenda driven manipulations of virus policy. Of the latter none of them seriously care about the numbers of alleged deaths related to COVID. They either know they are bogus (one of their manipulations)  or write them off for for what they consider the greater good.

That said and recognizing the essential truths in Morefield’s article posted below we will add a couple annotations later today that we think add some useful additional insight.

The COVID Hypochondriacs Think They’re Saving the World, But They’re Actually Destroying It

The United States recently passed a grim “milestone” of sorts with over 500,000 deaths being attributed in some way to COVID-19. What this really means, of course, is that more than 500,000 mostly super-old and/or mostly super-sick people have died who, at some point prior to or at their deaths, discovered COVID-19 in their systems thanks to super-sensitive PCR testing that may or may not have been correct. Sadly, that’s the extent of what we know for sure at this point, though our overlords pretend they know everything while consistently being proven wrong weeks later.

Half a million is a big number, for sure, but around 3 million people die in this country every year, to the tune of well over 7,000 every single day. Yes, there have been excess deaths caused by COVID, but those are probably two-thirds of that grim number we constantly see on the TV ticker. Further, overall deaths over the coming years are likely to be significantly lower as we find that COVID-19 took many people weeks and months earlier than they otherwise would have gone.

I don’t point these things out to be insensitive or disrespectful of the dead, but I do think society has lost all sense of perspective. All death is tragic and sad, especially for those who lose loved ones, and my intention is not to minimize any of it. It is, however, my responsibility to point out that, as absurd as it sounds, a significant proportion of the population of this country seems to have forgotten that we are all, at some point, going to die. Indeed, even as 500,000 were dying of or with COVID-19, 660,000 others were dying of heart disease, and 600,000 were dying of cancer. Where, pray tell, is the national memorial for them?

The truth is, throughout human history, the chance has ALWAYS existed that one could transmit a virus or pathogen either directly or indirectly to someone already super old, super sick, and/or super vulnerable (i.e. immunocompromised) and that that virus or pathogen could play a part in someone’s death. Humans have been at least to some degree aware of this for hundreds of years. It’s not that society shouldn’t be wary of germs and viruses and take reasonable, sustainable precautions against them. But THIS? What has gone on over the past YEAR? To say these draconian lockdowns, unscientific mandates, and bizarre restrictions have been entirely disproportionate to the actual threat would be the understatement of the century. They have been a gross, pathological, hard-to-believe-it’s-not-intentional OVERreaction.

Seemingly out of nowhere, society has turned itself into a pretzel in a futile attempt to prevent anyone from dying of or with COVID-19, even though the survival rate is well above 99.5% and the vast majority of those who have died with the virus would have likely soon been dead of something else. We have destroyed livelihoods, futures, and even lives in this Quixotic quest, yet have accomplished absolutely nothing except paving the way for further tyranny down the road exchanged for a false sense of security and protection. In the name of ‘saving’ humanity, we have tragically undermined and destroyed so many things that bring joy to life.

So where does this all end? Vaccine distribution has been ramping up, and Johnson & Johnson is in the game now with a one-shot non-RNA vaccine that could be a game-changer for those who are hesitant. I’m skeptical, but if vaccines ‘work’ to get the fearful feeling good enough to end this charade, that’s good enough for me. Yet, despite increasing vaccination rates and declining infection numbers, Team Apocalypse refuses to budge and are now literally mask-shaming Texas and Mississippi for ending their unconstitutional mandates.

Now, Dr. Fauci wants fewer than 10,000 cases a day to even consider relaxing restrictions, a number that hasn’t been reached since the beginning of the pandemic. The often untold reality is, while vaccines may (hopefully) help, they will never eliminate COVID-19 entirely. This virus will ALWAYS be with us, albeit hopefully in a less lethal form. Given that and based on their actions so far, is there evidence our overlords don’t intend for the current measures of masking, restrictions, and social distancing to last for years, if not forever, at least in the areas they control?

Zero-COVID, obviously, is the ‘goal’ of the psychopaths who want to use this pandemic to impose their twisted policy aims on society, and people like Fauci and others who advise President Biden are increasingly looking like they adhere to this ridiculous notion. If ZERO COVID is the impossible goal now, this insane ‘New Normal’ we’ve been experiencing for nary on a year will NEVER go away. Not without a fight anyway.

We are living in a time when most people seem to believe that appalling (in any era) assaults on individual liberties are completely worth it if they provide the off-chance that SOME lives could maybe, possibly, conceivably be prolonged by a few weeks or a few months. The irrational fear these hypochondriacs can’t let go of has made life intolerable for the living in countless places worldwide. Consequently, we’ve been watching the world die a slow, self-inflicted death. It’s time to choose life. It’s past time to fight back against the fear and the fearmongers, assess the risk, and live our lives to the fullest. Because COVID or not, none of us are guaranteed tomorrow.

I’m still on Twitter, but I’m also working on building alternate platforms (as we all should). To that end, please consider following me on Parler and Gab and friending me on MeWe (I will accept all contact requests). Also please be sure to follow my COVID ‘Team Reality’ Twitter list, 170+ doctors, medical professionals, analysts, data hounds, media, and politicians unafraid to tell the truth about COVID-19.

If U.S. parents showed the kind of “love” those Latino parents do, they’d be charged with a felony?

  • Subjecting them to criminal syndicates, COVID hot spots
  • Sending them to live in cages and wrapped in foil
  • Biden Welcomes ‘Felons’ to American Communities ?!
  • Isn’t  “Child Endangerment” a Felony

“Whether a person is charged with a misdemeanor or a felony depends on whether the child was exposed to substantial danger or was put into a potentially dangerous situation.”

—————–

“President Biden’s Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Monday said that “loving parents” are sending 9-year-old children alone to the US-Mexico border.”

IT’s no secret what the ‘strategy’ is of the “loving parents” who put their often very young children into the ‘care’ of a drug cartel smuggler or a ‘coyote’.

In either case, the individuals…smuggler or coyote, into whose “care” the “loving parents” entrust their children are interested only in the sizable payment they receive to get the children to the U S southern border so that they may illegally enter… into the care of US immigration authorities.

Once on American (US) soil, the “loving parents” expect to be eventually “reunited” as a “family” with the children… in the US.

When that happens, they are pretty much assured that they will enjoy a ‘unique status’… enjoying all the health, welfare, and education benefits that any US citizen is entitled to.

Though not technically “citizens”, they become “refugees” and, thus, are pretty well assured that they will stay in the US…either as eventual ‘citizens’ or as long term, or permanent, ‘illegal immigrants”!

Not a bad strategy actually, especially since all indications are, it has a high probability of ‘success’.

Not bad either, if such “loving parents” are willing to put their children at risk of the dangers of a long, perilous journey under the most difficult conditions, at the “care and concern” of some of the most unscrupulous, uncaring criminal types on the planet.

In the end, if all works out well: the “loving parents” have achieved a life they’ve sought, at virtually no risk to themselves, and only for the price paid to the ‘helpful’ coyotes or the drug cartel…and the risks they let their children take.

But one is only left to ponder, would similar ‘loving US citizen parents’ be viewed as favorably?

Note: There have been 108 migrants released by the Border Patrol in Texas since late January who have tested positive for the coronavirus after their arrival, officials told Fox News on Wednesday.

Big Wind and Texas (not to mention taxes)

  • Texas Blackout Deception video
  • Bureaucracies up to their old tricks — laziness, stupidity, deception, corruption

Iowa has some of the same problems associated with wind power generation –  (some worse such as the consumption of valuable land), the  limited useful life of the turbine generation plants, the burden on taxpayers (a huge inefficiency), and other inefficiencies. AND NEVER FORGET the money quote from Chairman Buffet, Chair of the biggest investor in wind generation in the Mid-West-  to the effect – ~ it makes no sense without subsidies ~~ that means taxes spelled with a big T.

Wind farms, besides being ugly, are not a serious dependable energy source. Even though Iowa is ranked with Texas as a leading wind power generating state, it has not had energy black-outs because it is not as dependent on wind  as fossil and nuclear are the backbone of our power needs and consistently up and running. Electrical needs have not necessitated wind power anywhere, not ecology — only bad science,  politics and greedy opportunism.  It is “made” here to largely be sold to other states so they can meet “green” energy goals and mandates.

Video is from Clear Energy Alliance.   Note our good word for clean-coal after the video.

A good word for clean-coal:

Coal is cheap, abundant world wide (not like the rare earths required of wind and solar technologies), can be stored forever at ambient temperature without pressurization, readily dispersed and stockpiled  and technological advancements are promising.

Who is more ignorant about science and the Bible: Pope Francis or Rep. Ocasio-Cortez

Is it the former bar bouncer or the former bartender?

It is a close call.

Note this is not to disparage the intelligence of bartenders or bouncers and is only to say that the average one with a grade school catechism and any reflection would not have flubbed what the Pope recently did as regards his admonition that if we didn’t change our ways basically our world would end by raising sea waters  aka a great flood.

Via Breibart:

ROME — Pope Francis has warned of the possibility of a second great flood, like that of Noah’s time, if humanity fails to address global warming.

“God’s wrath is directed against injustice, against Satan,” the pope states in a book titled Of Vices and Virtues due for release Tuesday. “It is directed against evil, not that which derives from human weakness, but evil of Satanic inspiration: the corruption generated by Satan.”

“God’s wrath is meant to bring justice, to ‘clean up,’” the pontiff declares in an advance excerpt of the book published by the Italian daily Corriere della Sera Sunday.

“The Bible says that the flood is the result of God’s wrath,” Francis continues. “It is a figure of God’s wrath, who according to the Bible has seen too many bad things and decides to obliterate humanity.”

“The biblical flood, according to experts, is a mythical tale,” the pope states, parenthetically adding his hope that no one writes that “the pope says the Bible is a myth.”

“But myth is a form of knowledge,” he says. “The flood is a historical tale, archaeologists say, because they found traces of a flood in their excavations.”

“A great flood, perhaps due to a rise in temperature and the melting of the glaciers, is what will happen now if we continue along the same path,” the pope warns.

“God unleashed his wrath, but he saw a righteous one, took him and saved him,” he says. “The story of Noah demonstrates that God’s wrath is also salvific.”

Now just say’n

We call your attention to Genesis 9-11 quoting versions the Pontiff  may have on the shelf:

New American Bible (Revised Edition) (NABRE)

11 I will establish my covenant with you, that never again shall all creatures be destroyed by the waters of a flood; there shall not be another flood to devastate the earth.

New Revised Standard (NRS)

11 I establish my covenant with you, that never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of a flood, and never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth.”

We presume Ocasio-Cortez knows next to nothing about the Bible. So it is a low bar for the Pope to get under on that score. But he seems to be trying.

As regards the science of the matter, well Ocasio-Cotez (aka Occasional-Cortex) has  warned us:  Via The Hill

Ocasio-Cortez: ‘World will end in 12 years’ if climate change not addressed

“Millennials, and Gen z, and all these folks that come after us, are looking up and we’re like ‘the world will end in 12 years if we don’t address climate change, and your biggest issue is how are we gonna pay for it?'” @AOC #MLKNow #MLK2019

Her comments are in reference to a United Nations-backed climate report, published late last year, that determined the effects of climate change to be irreversible and unavoidable if carbon emissions are not reined in over the next 12 years.

She went on*:

“Right now, with the current administration, with the current circumstances, with the abdication of responsibility that we’ve seen from so many powerful people, even people who abdicate that responsibility by calling themselves liberal or a Democrat, or whatever it is, I feel a need for all of us to breathe fire,” she said.

We do not know the Pope’s timeline on the flood thing or if he believes a ~~ millenarian time period will precede it or we will just go to the main event (via flood) if we don’t change our ways.

As regards “The science Pope”** and the Science Congresslady:

Global Warming Catastrophists Still Pushing Sea Level Hysteria

* disclaimer — Ocasio-Cortex use of the phraseology “breath fire” surely does not relate to pyrotechnics, and would only be presumed to do so if the utterer were politically conservative.  Use of which would be banned by Twitter (where the Ocasio-Cortez quote appeared).

** Previously at V’PAC:

In truth Pope Francis has a certificate from what amounts to a high school trade school or junior college. You wouldn’t call a graduate of a high school trade school or community college “majoring” in welding or carpentry a “metallurgist” or an “architect.”

Pope Francis is not a scientist nor any more knowledgeable or necessarily appreciative of the scientific method than a carpenter or welder, nor would you properly trust either such graduate as a consulting engineer or architect without one hell of a lot of hands on experience in key aspects of the field. The Pope has no such level of experience. He was a lab functionary for a short time doing routine tests in a food factory before he went on to seminary. Portraying him as someone with special knowledge is propaganda and corruption of the truth.

Congresswoman Boebert explains HR1 – The Democrat incredible power grab

  • Representative Lauren Boebert is something of a a Southern Michelle Bachmann — fearless, insightful

Shown with President Trump in December

Her article posted here from The Blaze is a a great dissection of the meaning and implications of HR1, The Democrat election reform bill.

If I were a Democrat

If I were a Democrat, I’d centralize power in Washington by nationalizing our elections. It wouldn’t be enough to hold all three branches temporarily. I’d need to make it permanent.

So I’d change the rules.
If I were a Democrat, I’d flood the voter pool. I’d require all states to allow same-day voter registration. I’d mandate states automatically register felons, illegal aliens, and 16-year-olds to vote, and I’d require prisons, welfare offices, and ICE to provide their voter registration information.

I’d also use taxpayer dollars to establish aggressive voter recruitment programs at leftist training camps — otherwise known as colleges and universities.

If I were a Democrat, I’d begin a chronicle of lies that all voter verification laws are racist and with that distraction, I’d enable illegal voting.
Banning all voter ID laws would be another important step.

If any local official dared question the eligibility of one of my illegal voters, I would throw them in jail. I would threaten force until no one dared resist.

I’d block efforts to verify signatures and citizenship in the name of counting every vote — not just every legal one. I’d make it more difficult for poll watchers to ensure accountability: citizen oversight is a pest.

I’d make the fraud-ridden mail-in voting of the 2020 pandemic election permanent. To ensure my win on Election Day (or Election Month under our new scheme), I would allow aggressive ballot harvesting to begin 45 days before the election, and I’d count votes received 10 days late in case we need to drum up some missing ballots.

If I were a Democrat, I’d siphon the power of states to the federal government. I’d ignore the Constitution and prevent states from determining their own voting practices. If conservative states did not readily relinquish their authority, I would reduce their representation in Congress and give their electoral votes to my friends in California or New York.

For good measure, I’d strip all state legislatures of their ability to decide how Congressional districts are drawn, and I’d also prohibit states from enforcing their election law.

Next, I’d give D.C. statehood. Now I have the Senate.

If I were a Democrat, I’d marginalize the courts and limit access to challenges. I’d insist that all election lawsuits be processed only by my friends on the District Court in Washington, D.C.

If I were a Democrat, I’d talk about taking money out of politics, but would tax businesses to provide kickbacks and multiply my own campaign war chest by 600%.

If I were a Democrat, I’d be a career politician, so I’d enrich the Swamp while further bankrupting America.

To sweep away any ethics challenges, I’d change the bipartisan Federal Election Commission into a partisan board with a new czar governed by the ruling party — mine.

Now I know these changes are ambitious, and there could be backlash. So I’d silence dissent and cancel free speech. After I controlled the government, I’d want to control the people, so I’d cancel unauthorized thoughts. I’d empower bureaucrats to prosecute individual Americans for posting anything “fact-checkers” deem “misinformation.”

I’d dox and censor anyone who donated to my opponents by having the government publish their personal information. Then I’d weaponize the IRS to strip conservative churches and nonprofits of their tax-exempt status.

If I were a Democrat, I’d use the weight of the federal government to crush anyone who opposed me.

In other words, if I were a Democrat, I’d pass the “For the Swamp Act,” H.R. 1.
But I’m a conservative, and I will never stop fighting for the rights of states, limited government, and election integrity.

Democrat Auditor Moritz unlawfully reduces special election voting places

  • Special referendum today on 40 MILLION bond issue to pay for things educrats should have already been concentrating on
  • Lets them continue their  BS stuff and look like they are responding to needs
  • Bond issues cost taxpayers – the money does have to be paid back and becomes part of the public debt service
  • Polls open until 8:00 PM this evening at one of the following locations, no thanks to Auditor Moritz
  • Moritz violates rules about limiting voting locations in our judgement as a political maneuver to help the matter pass
  • Moritz in league with? educrats who get out their people in support, (law of concentrated gain) while keeping matter under the radar for the preponderance of concerned taxpayers, while Moritz serves to inconvenience general taxpayer/voters
  • The hypocrisy of Moritz is astounding

Ballot issue which we oppose because of lack of confidence in educrat establishment, especially their profligacy.

Shall the Eastern Iowa Community College District (Merged Area IX) in the Counties of Cedar, Clinton, Dubuque, Jackson, Johnson, Louisa, Muscatine and Scott, State of Iowa, be authorized to construct, erect, remodel, repair, renovate, furnish, and equip Career and Technical Education facilities buildings at various locations throughout the Merged Area; to improve CTE programming at those sites; and issue its school bonds in an amount not exceeding $40,000,000 for such purposes?

Educrats should have offered  taxpayers an alternate plan – as in absorb and redirect and then perhaps ask for a reduced amount.

A Scott County Republican communication* had this to say mid-morning about the reduction of voting locations:

Roxanna Moritz is once again violating Iowa law!  Iowa statute 47.1.2b, passed last year, requires that a county auditor must not reduce polling places by more than thirty-five percent.  For today’s Special Election she should have 41 polling places open and there are just 12.  Tell her to quit suppressing the vote, especially in the rural areas which are hit the hardest.  People do not have access to the polls like they should!  It is important that you call today 563-326-8631 and let her know she needs to follow the law!

We also encourage readers to contact the Scott County Attorney and demand an investigation.

* This post has two purposes –  to report on the high-handed activity of Democrat Auditor Moritz and to briefly give our opinion of the bonding referendum.  It should be understood that the Scott County Republican commentary was limited to Moritz’s violations of law.  We do not know if the organization has taken a position on the specific bond proposal.
