Whoever in Biden employ came up with this idea was definitely on our side

Biden campaign has offered all an opportunity to post their picture name and address (or message) in an avatar.  All we can say is that whoever in Biden employ came up with this idea was definitely on our side.  Don’t they know liberals can’t do funny?  It is still available at this writing at https://avatar.joebiden.com/   If you have a creation or favorite by others send us a notice to our comment section and we will contact you.  The first one is the blank copy followed by three of ours and a number we found via The Daily Dot and elsewhere.

It better be “IT” this time…or it’s the last flight out of Saigon

IT’S `EITHER ‘HERE WE GO AGAIN’ OR TO PARAPHRASE THE REVEREND, “JUSTICE AT LAST, INDICTMENTS AT LAST, THANK GOD ALMIGHTY, JUSTICE AT LAST!”

This has to be ‘IT”. The hour is late. The Coronavirus pandemic has crowded out the public’s interest in Barr’s investigation; the campaigning and the Party conventions will soon be the hot topics along with the efforts to reopen the economy. The last thing the Democrats and their media allies will want is any information out to the American people about the overwhelming evidence of the Obama administration’s treasonous and criminal activities to undermine Trump.

The media will pull out all the stops to support Pelosi’s and Schumer’s attempts to block needed action by Trump to bring back the nation’s prosperity, and will devote full time to a search for anything they can distort to blame the president for.

If the full extent of Durham’s already too protracted ‘investigation’ doesn’t get out to the public in the next few days, it will never get to the American people, and the Democratic Party’s narrative will dominate the ‘public square’ in the coming months preceding the election.      dlh

Jim Hoft at The Gateway Pundit reports:

IT’S HAPPENING: At Long Last John Solomon Says Indictments May Be Coming This Week in Obama’s Spygate Scandal

Earlier this week the Senate Judiciary Committee released key material related to the Obama FISA Abuse Scandal

The documents included transcripts and material related to the Committee’s investigation into Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) actions leading up to and during the Spygate scandal.
The information included transcripts of undercover FBI spies interviewing George Papadopoulos in 2016.

On Friday night investigative journalist John Solomon joined Lou Dobbs to discuss the ongoing Crossfire Hurricane or Spygate scandal.

Solomon says DOJ indictments may be coming this week.

John Solomon: In my worst nightmare I could not have imagined what would come out this week. The level of information that the FBI had that raised red flags that they should have never not even for a moment entertained Chris Steele as a human source as a confidential informant is now overwhelming… Christopher Steele should never have been shown the door inside the FBI and instead we sustained two-and-a-half years of an investigation into false allegations that put this country and this president through an unnecessary process.

Lou Dobbs: Unnecessary? This was an attempt to overthrow the president? This was an attempt to align the entire FBI with Russian intelligence objectives and missions… They are refusing to bring these people to justice! This is outrageous!…

John Solomon: …I will say this. There is fairly significant evidence that at this very moment, this week, the last couple of weeks Lou that there is some criminal investigative activity that I think will result in some action coming out soon. It’s not going to be a lot. Don’t expect 10 or 12 indictments but there could be a hand full of indictments and much more information.

The COVID19 planners – “sitting at the right hand of Satan”*?

This threesome collection is comprised of a combination of just fed-up and conspiratorial renderings about various governmental responses to the Wuhan virus at various levels in the US and overseas. Elements of each might be  debunked for one clarification or another  although even the debunking of factoids does not necessarily put at ease the implications of what is clearly at work by powerful interests fomenting one-world government.

We are sorry for the ease with which most of us have been scared or shamed into not protesting the curtailment of civil liberties as enforceable policy here these last number of weeks.  Particularly given so little definable threat (although lots of panicked rhetoric).

It is obvious that Democrats see this crisis as an opportunity for policy implementation or as a practice run that they are content will obliterate nettlesome rights in the way of the globalization/world government zeitgeist they work for.  The compliant hysteria (two words that do not always go together except in the case of fear mongering) is easier to generate toward a purpose than ideological debate.

https://www.redstate.com/streiff/2020/04/18/821187/

This virus is dangerous to a smallish number of people who are also vulnerable to a lot of other diseases. Overwhelmingly, the data show that something more than 30 times the number of people who test positive for the Wuhan virus get infected and either have no symptoms or symptoms so minor that they don’t recall having the malady. We can argue over whether this a regular flu or plus-sized flu but only clowns are claiming this virus has some extraordinarily high mortality rate. In fact, the US mortality rate is driven by exactly one state, New York, which is openly and dishonestly juicing its mortality data to make a grab for federal money to fill a $6 billion-and-growing hole in the state budget. The ‘social distancing’ craze is a non-falsifiable presumption, not a fact. If there is an increase in new cases then ‘social distancing’ isn’t being observed. If the cases go down, then it is. There is zero evidence of this; it is an assertion in the absence of evidence. The experience of the USS Theodore Roosevelt shows that 6,000 men and women jammed on a boat for in close quarters for at least three weeks in the presence of the virus can generate about 100 cases of Wuhan virus and in a month it can create 600 cases and 6 hospitalizations and bowel-loosening panic in one Navy captain. This is orders of magnitude below the levels predicted by the various models which are based on ‘social distancing’ and all the other nonsense being implemented.

If this virus is only dangerous to people who were already at risk of an ICU stay or a cemetery plot if they caught basically ANY infection, then why are we hunkering down and locking ourselves in our safe-rooms? Simple. What we are experiencing right now has zero to do with our safety or the safety of anyone else and everything to do with the aggrandizement of power and money to governments.

Across the nation, state and local governments have used the Wuhan virus scare to take draconian measures to curtail civil liberties. Some states, like the fascist paradise of Gauleiter Gretchen, have forbidden the sale of garden seeds and child passenger safety seats as non-essential. She has forbidden Michiganders from traveling from one residence in the state to another residence. Over Easter, states and municipalities across the country directly banned religious services. Not merely services in a church, but services in a parking lot. Curfews have been imposed because, I guess, viruses are more active at night.

California is filling in skate parks.

Neighbors are encouraged to narc on one another.

The Governor of New Jersey had the mourners at a Jewish funeral beset upon by police (stop me if you’ve heard something like this in a history class) and some were arrested. When questioned, he said he never considered the Bill of Rights in giving his order:

The police department in Raleigh, North Carolina, has taken upon itself to declare that protests are a ‘non-essential’ activity.

David Harsanyi, writing in National Review, chronicles other examples:

The criminalization of movement ends with ten Philly cops dragging a passenger off a bus for not wearing a face mask. It ends with local Brighton, Colo., cops handcuffing a father in front of his family for playing T-ball with his daughter in an empty park. It ends with three Massachusetts men being arrested, and facing the possibility of 90 days in jail, for crossing state lines and golfing — a sport built for social distancing — in Rhode Island.

None of these policies, none, not a single one, make you safer or prevent the spread of the virus. They are nothing more than government-ordained virtue signaling.    . . .  What all these policies have in common is that they are calculated to impress upon you that your ability to move, to shop, to travel, to work, to wear what you wish, to engage in legal activities, to congregate, to worship or just to f*** off a bit are all dependent upon some level of government deciding that no emergency exists.

Now that we’ve eliminated a good swath of the Bill of Rights with barely a whisper from the citizenry and with total cooperation of the media, ostensibly to protect us all from virus, do you really think government, having learned this lesson, is going to stop using this power any more than a tiger who has tasted human flesh is ever going to forego it again?

Right now we are in a perfect storm of fear and cowardice and stupidity. The modelers who drove this bullsh** frenzy desperately need to not be exposed as the buffoons they are. Politicians and the media who have fanned the flame need a body count to justify their abuse of power. Corrupt governors are trying to turn this crisis into a profit center to shore up budgets that are now dangerously out of kilter because they’ve destroyed the economies of their states. And we are all going along with it because we are either too scared to see this for what it is or we’re too cowardly to say enough is enough and f*** these people and their face masks and ‘social distancing.’

Below are links and an embedded video link to two conspiracy commentaries.  They are  not without some evidence of at least coincidental ideological purposes regarding the use of the disruption pandemics cause.

We have no doubt that ideologies and powerful influential organizations exist to “capitalize “on this pandemic but one does not have to believe “Wuhan”  was necessarily planned.  As regards theories about intentional infliction, we do not here accuse China as we do not see how economic catastrophe helps them. While the jury is out on China’s purposefulness, we have no doubt that they are  guilty of criminal negligence and a cover-up and more.

We see the assault on civil liberties and institutions more as opportunistic, combined with political leadership that is indifferent, lacking in principle, indeed composed of many fellow travelers, and many, including Republicans, largely subsumed by CYA instincts  and moral intimidation.  Combine it also with less grand political opportunism, to impose any pain if it will help get rid of Trump and return “us” to power.  And do not underestimate hubris and or stupidity, nor the sheepishness of the populous.

Because it will happen again (assuming we get over the present  “cure”) we must address this situation with harder rules established to tie the hands of bureaucracies and governors appropriately.  We cannot go through this for every threat of a respiratory disease.  Because so many of the decision makers, elected and bureaucrat, are weak in principle or intimidated by others, whether or not they are part of a grand conspiracy,  we must intimidate them with hurdles that protect life as we know it.

The movement to end toilet paper

I’d like to see the story that beats this one for ‘major breaking news’

Recent photo from a Davenport Walmart. So is backing up to a bidet any sort of answer?

The Story of the Day From The Wall Street Journal and the Atlantic:  (bold our emphasis)      dlh

“For tens of thousands of Americans… the time for a bidet has arrived.”

‘Our competitor is toilet paper.’— Mr. Ojalvo of ‘Tushy’

– “Jason Ojalvo, CEO of direct-to-consumer bidet company Tushy,* knew that America’s backsides couldn’t wait. Watching demand skyrocket on his online sales dashboard as America’s great toilet-paper crisis of 2020 left store shelves bare and shoppers panicking, he decided to take drastic measures to guarantee ongoing supply.”

– “Where before Tushy might spend a big chunk of the $79 price for its entry-level bidet on advertising—direct-to-consumer companies often spend a third of revenue on marketing—it has been able to redirect that money to its higher shipping costs, says Mr. Ojalvo.”

– “U.S. makers of bidets… decry the quality of inexpensive models direct from China, of which there are an endless variety. But the kind of bare-bones add-on bidets sold by all of these companies vary little in their design. All are slim enough to be installed underneath an existing toilet seat in about 10 minutes, and consist of a hose that attaches to a toilet’s water supply, a valve to control water pressure and a nozzle that sprays water. That’s about it.” (What more do you need?)

– “The French invented the bidet in the 1600s, as a way to freshen up without taking a full bath.

Airfreight costs are still squeezing Tushy’s margins, (Who wants their ‘tushy margins squeezed?”)

Airfreight costs are still squeezing Tushy’s margins, but the company’s leaders have decided that, because people who buy their products tend to become bidet evangelists…(You,too, could become a ‘bidet evangelist’

Paradoxically, the functional equivalence of all these bidets is one reason Tushy could come out ahead in the end, fulfilling its leaders’ aspirations to make it the Casper of its category. By focusing on aesthetics, the company hopes to position itself as the hip alternative to stodgy, traditional bidets. “People care about design, especially if you live in a small place in New York City and you want to look at things that feel good,” says Ms. Agrawal.

For now, the biggest barrier for all of these companies remains Americans’ historical reluctance to use a bidet at all. “Our competitor is toilet paper,” says Mr. Ojalvo.    . . .

Drudge: Gloom, Despair, Agony on me; Deep, Dark, Depression, excessive misery! (Ohhhh!) If it weren’t for bad luck, I’d have no luck at all…..

Drudge…always ‘helpful’…always ‘optimistic’ (Friday’s  headlines):

Coronavirus began months earlier and not in Wuhan, bombshell UK report claims…
More widespread than realized, Stanford study suggests…
AMERICA SICK MAP…
‘This Isn’t the Flattened Curve We Were Promised’…*
GALLUP: Trump approval sharpest drop recorded…
White House fears of second-wave calamity…
NYC paramedic haunted: ‘You hear the cries’…

* (Bloomberg Opinion) — “Flatten the curve” has become the mantra of the global effort to contain the coronavirus pandemic. It’s a powerful and immensely valuable image, helping people understand why their sacrifices are necessary to save lives.

It’s also wrong in a crucial way: The dying won’t be over nearly as soon as it suggests.”

Watchdogs looking like Wile E. Coyote

  • The broken record plays on
  • Nothing ever comes of Obama corruption revelations

https://thenationalsentinel.com/2020/04/16/newly-declassified-evidence-doj-footnootes-prove-obama-senior-officials-knew-steele-dossier-bogus/

HOW MANY TIMES HAVE WE HEARD THIS?

Maybe not this specific headline and story, but how many other similar “BLOWS THE LID OFF THE CORRUPT OBAMA REGIME AND DOJ” headlines and ledes citing similar sensational accounts of the treachery and treason the previous president and his morally and legally reprehensible team imposed on America have you seen??

Almost nightly Sean Hannity has guest journalists and politicos on his show assuring his audience that the proof is ‘now out there’…and it is ‘undeniable’! (An example, even from the left: WashPO, OCT,2019: “Barr’s investigation Should Make Democrats Very Nervous”). Typical headlines and stories on various talk shows and conservative columnists:

“William Barr’s “Ace” investigator, John Durham..(the latest in a long line of “impeccable, “no-nonsense”, all-time best criminal investigators anywhere”)… is ‘on the case’; indictments are imminent; many high Obama admin officials ‘will go to jail’; etc, etc, and, oh yes, etc!”

And yet, as we have noted, so far, with the election less than 7 months away, and Trump’s reelection far from a sure thing, what has Barr produced? ZIP! ZERO! And you know the rest.

The election, however improbable of “Sleepy Joe”, will insure that whatever proof of unprecedented criminality by Obama and his minions there is, will go unproven, unexposed, and unpunished.          dlh

Sense and vitriol in the end-the-shutdown debate

We reference below two authentic conservative sources which goes to show we conservatives can be a mixed lot and not immune from the hysteria virus (our humble opinion as to one of the articles critiqued) .

First up John Hinderacker at PowerLine asks questions that need to be asked and responded to:

https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2020/04/when-should-the-shutdowns-end.php

Now RedState is a publication that we have brought back to our stable of go-to publications since Erick Erickson left.  He needed to go with his temporary affliction with never-Trumper disease. He has recovered but departing the publication helped its return to more consistent sense and sensibility, which is not to say individuals therein do not produce clunkers now and then.

That is what  Joe Cunningham has done with his embarrassing freakout and castigation of the integrity of conservative pro-life / right-to life sentiments calling for expeditious return to normal economic and social activity (for the cause of life by the way). Read his commentary  but be assured he is well taken to the woodshed by most of the responses therein.  We hope to pile on as time permits.

People Are Not Lambs to Be Slaughtered at the Altar of Economy

Joe –  it is not an either or proposition we are faced with, it is the necessity to respond better.

A RAT OF THE WORST KIND (if true; seems likely)

DO YOU BELIEVE THIS LADY IS THE TRAITOROUS, TREACHEROUS “ANONYMOUS”?

Here is the story, and it is rather overwhelming: Victoria Coates is the rat

Here’s ‘Anonymous,’ Trump Aides Say. And Here’s How They Outed Her
By Paul Sperry, RealClearInvestigations

Philadelphia has a reputation for rats*

It’s a compelling case, and though sad and reluctant to believe it, I must say that I do think this is the despicable culprit.

It especially troubles me that she was a close associate of Ted Cruz whom I respect a great deal, and that she seemed, at least outwardly, to believe in many of the same solid conservative principles that I do.

There seems, though, to me that a thorough investigation was done and the evidence that she is the villain is irrefutable.

If true, this is typical of some of the truly dishonest, reprehensible, traitorous people who have surrounded Trump since his inauguration. They have presented themselves as something they are not (dedicated from the beginning to overthrowing the institution and the person who hired them).

Demanding “loyalty” from a subordinate is one thing; appointing and bestowing confidence and trust in the people a leader must rely on is another thing.

Such people, who cannot be trusted to reflect and carry out the duties they signed on to do, have no place in any organization! To accept an appointment while fully intending to use it as a means to undermine the person and institution which appointed you is dishonest almost beyond belief. A predisposition to betray their own pledges to carry out their responsibilities is not ‘honorable’…it unacceptable and immoral.

What are your thoughts?    dlh

Chiming in at my collaborators invitation,  a take not a disagreement:

The reported disbelief by some of her compatriots may be innocent given that “Anonymous” is said to have made very clear in the introduction to the book:  “If asked, I will strenuously deny I am the author of this book.”  So friends and family can be fooled if trusting.

As for Ted Cruz’s association with the alleged “Anonymous” Cruz has been public in praise and honorable in disagreement with Trump, and definitely maintained a working relationship, indeed I suspect developed an understanding of the Trump persona in I think an example of statesmanlike humility.  As to whether there is any fealty by Cruz to Coates,  if so Cruz might want to reconsider its placement to a Mitt Romney champion (read article).

As for “Anonymous”, it is one thing for, as a doctrinaire policy advocate, someone like Coates to become part of a legitimate administration in the hope of  influencing it, but indeed treacherous for “anonymous” to continue in it with purposes of undermining in a harmful, disloyal, irresponsible, underhanded way, breeding distrust, injuriously disrupting,  faulting matters of no consequence, bringing innocent associates into disrepute, irresponsibly risk killing the baby for a bathwater change. That is what humanoid rats do, including the ones who hail from Philadelphia.   R Mall

Enough of the hysteric pandemic shut-downs

Many are absolutely ridiculous, useless, or harmful as to long-term health of the populace. Many reasonable ones are now outlived.  Most can be shifted to “advisory” or individual company policy. Reasonable ones that remain must be continuously scrutinized for effect.

Revised epidemic / pandemic protocols must be established that incorporate economic well-being as important to the treatment. Economical public health standards and some social practices will go a long way toward prevention/minimization.

We also recognize that some economic policy measures will help prevent pandemics or lesson the fallout for individual countries  — in our case border control being one and maintenance of key manufacturing (life affirming drugs and medical equipment) capacity in-country another.  Our foreign aid can be more focused with production capabilities available to help countries presently incapable.

Get back to business or reap the death dealing secondary effects of the COVID19 hysteria  —  destruction of life giving liberty and the resources it produces  to deal with inevitable disease outbreaks.

The Wuhan agenda Shiva Ayyadurai

This interview with Shiva Ayyadurai an MIT PhD is posted for your critique.  For “balance” we also are providing this link to a Wikipedia bio on him that is hardly flattering.

We do suspect elements in the Wikipedia article to be possibly out of context, explainable/defensible by Ayyadurai. His credentials are not seriously challenged although the Wiki item intones that his claim to be a “student of medicine” is a lie. Given his unchallenged credentials one can hardly doubt a casual comment to that effect as there is so much overlap in what his field of work entails. The intonation in the Wiki bio was a hit job which to use its standards calls into question its reliability as unbiased or agenda free.

So view the 16 minute interview, ruminate on what truth he just might be exposing about the system that breeds the Fauchi’s and the current COVID-19 response. Extract (or reject) the truths from here and elsewhere and use your common sense and best judgement and carry on accordingly.   Thanks to MW and KK for forwarding it.

For the record we are not convinced of the efficacy of mega-vitamin doses, nor that GMO food research  cannot be worthy, nor that all vaccines are not lifesaving (not saying these demurrals are, or are not, Shiva Ayyadurai positions either). We do accept the propensity of certain elements in society/academia/ “public health”to want to control and that that propensity can be dangerous ultimately to human health and happiness and oh yes, always follow the money trail for a fuller picture.
