Local Yokels Submit Questions to Obama’s People in Advance

used with permission - LMAOObamaWe are amused that some reporting is coming out about what a farce these “interviews” with local anchors really are. Here we thought that KWQC’s Gary Metevier was a close confidante to President Obama, being granted a personal interview and all, just before the election.

Has anyone in the QCA noted anything about this?  Oh wait, we may have mentioned something about it back in the day,  here   here   here  and  here

So does this mean that Obama doesn’t really look to fellow teleprompter cowboys like Gary for advice on some of the most critical issues of the day?

And we were hoping to learn what Gary’s counsel to Obama would be regarding Ukraine and Obamacare and climate change!

Read about the embarrassing (for all concerned) revelation by Catherine Anaya of KPHO-TV in Phoenix who claimed Obama flack Jay Carney told reporters that White House correspondents often tell him their questions ahead of time. Anaya walked her story back later in the day as regards regular White House correspondents, and Carney, but as regards her own visiting status well, her comment seems plain enough.

“In my live report I also wanted to share my impression of my experience in getting a question answered during the briefing. I was indeed asked to provide my question in advance. Because my question was largely of local interest, I chose to save it for my interview with the President instead.

Local yokels who are granted an audience with His Obamanation are given four minutes, and well it is far more efficient to give His Obamanation’s people the questions in advance and receive a written response, complete with quotation marks no doubt, you know, so as to manage  facilitate communication to the folks back in the sticks. The “interview” as we suspected, is pure theater.    DLH with R Mall
