Obama gives his best standup routine ever! — Hillary close 2nd!*
L.D. (Lame D-ck) Obama regaled his adoring audience of the White House press corps* * with tales of seasonal fantasy in his (thankfully) last year-end presidential press conference Friday:
“(I TOLD)…HIM (PUTIN) TO CUT IT OUT, AND THERE WERE GOING TO BE SERIOUS CONSEQUENCES IF HE DIDN’T…” (B H Obama)
To that, laughter was heard ’round the world.
OUR ENEMIES BROKE OUT IN RAUCOUS LAUGHTER…OUR ALLIES CRINGED… AND THE WORLD SHUDDERED
If Obama had been addressing an audience at the Improv, his imitation of an effective world leader would have brought down the house. In the White House briefing room, we expect it inspired the usual wink-wink from reporters who’ve heard this guy’s shtick for the past 8 years…and have dutifully passed it on to their readers, viewers, and listeners, among whom only the most gullible felt they were being “informed”.
While his administration was pleading with China to give us back the drone they stole from us and Iran, Russia, and Assad were celebrating the massacre of thousands of the most innocent, in full view of the world and in open defiance of other Obama promises of “consequences”, the president was at the podium claiming that America was “stronger and more respected in the world today” because of his wise leadership.
Chevy Chase couldn’t have delivered those lines better. Nobody delivers an obvious joke more deadpanned than Barack Obama when he’s recounting all of his “accomplishments”.
