Yankee Doodle to Let’s Go Brandon — The New Rallying Cry for America

  • Phenomenal spread (related links below)
  • Oh it’s a dog whistle alright
  • NASCAR people show the way
  • Its not just eff Joe Biden — it is eff Joe Biden and the horse he road in on
  • Scott McKay, a contributor the American Spectator, wrote that the “Let’s Go Brandon” chant is “a seminal moment in American political history.”

Yankee Doodle first was used by the British governing elites to make fun of American troops as “sorry, trifling fellows,  fools or simpletons”.  In a turnaround it was adopted by American revolutionaries as an in your face response ~~ sort of  “that’s right and were here and we are going to kick your British arse” — and they did.

The “Let’s Go Brandon” rallying cry is the newer in your face response to both the dominant liberal media and their coverup of the Biden corruptions and governmental atrocities, Biden himself and those who continue to support his administrations policies. It substitutes for (in politer venues anyway) the chant F**k Joe Biden. The genesis of the particular phrase is explained in the links.  The Powerline link and the related comments  are particularly insightful.  We will consolidate and post some related memes later today.

Who is running America – you decide

  • A reminder of how bad an administration, put in office by an election flawed by “irregularities”, can be
  • Here are the main choices –  you decide

We heartily credit Joan Swirsky writing at a website called ”the Blue State Conservative” (BSC) for compiling this short list of Joe Biden (aka  “Brandon”) disasters in just the short time he has ‘occupied’ the Oval Office. (We also want to recognize her theory on who is actually ‘running’ Biden).

We believe that “Brandon” ( Biden) did not ‘accomplish’ all this ‘destroy America package’ himself.

Biden has never accomplished much of anything in all his years in national politics.

Thanks to James Clyburn and unwary black voters in South Carolina, Biden’s career in politics did not end as it rightfully should have. (Clyburn rallied black voters to turn out in sufficient numbers  to give Biden his first ‘win’ in a Democratic primary, and then go on to win the Party’s nomination against a very poor lineup of Democrat candidates…with Kamala Harris perhaps the worst and the first to drop out for lack of any visible support).

We present this list of Biden ‘disasters’ to remind readers of just how bad and destructive to the lives of all Americans Joe (Brandon) Biden is!

We urge you to go to the link and read BSC’s full comments and also the accompanying TownHall article on the same subject:

THE FIRST EIGHT MONTHS AFTER THE FRAUDULENT ELECTION.

In less time than a normal human pregnancy, putative president Biden managed to accomplish the following:

Spoiler alert – In the BSC article answering the question is a process of elimination that leads to George Soros and his Open Society Foundation.

Wayne Allyn Root writing at TownHall has a similar question but advocates that China is the root of the evil afoot.

We All Know Biden Is Not in Charge; So, Who Is Really Running the Country? The Answer Will Shock You

We feel the Soros contention is the most directly plausible, not that the two purposes Soros’ “Open Society” and China hegenomy do not reinforce one another. Soros does not realize or does not care that China plays its own game for world dominance and that isn’t about an “open society” (neither are Soros aims really about an “open society” — rather just one-world government by our betters, meaning his ilk).  Soros seems focused on his megamaniacal distain if not hate for western institutions and individual freedoms.

One can argue either “Soros” or “China”, as both certainly have a money trail that pertains. But Soros’ designs are in a symbiotic relationship with now thoroughly leftist institutions growing and  reinforcing one another with his funding and influence.  Soros has been inculcating the precepts, a real strategy, opportunistic at any turn, for nearly three decades.  He is intent on fruition. His people / fellow travelers are well placed.  There are many lieutenants and colonels to this, as mentioned in the articles — Bill Ayers, Barack Obama, Biden’s chief of staff, and more, all aided by strategic plans from the likes of Cloward & Piven and of course the forbearers — Karl Marx et al.

But George Soros based on his comments and the purposes of the Open Society directly and indirectly operating against key western institutions  — the church, academia, ethics — which were already corrupted, weakened or collapsed before he got on the scene, is plausibly the main antagonist.  His words:

The main obstacle to a stable and just world order is the United States

McConnell as Republican leader, embarrassed by Schumer, stomps his feet

Democrat Majority Leader Charles Schumer gave a victory speech after a group of Republicans lead by Mitch McConnell helped them deliver on a debt ceiling raise that serves to move the Democrats gargantuan Marxist “reconciliation budget” forward. Mitch and the ten other Republicans were not being the adults in the room they were being the  patsies in the room, and intentionally so. They just didn’t want their noses rubbed in it.

Schumer was so unseemly in his comments that Joe Manchin walked out and even a few other Dems might have been a bit embarrassed over the Dem leader’s lack of decorum. McConnell in responding to the victory attack essentially admitted how complicit he and the ten others were in advancing the Democrat procedural victory.  We are still wondering why have a filibuster if the worried party caves whenever the other party threaten to end it, but effectively allows the threatening party to keep it for themselves.

We recommend this deservidly scathing commentary regarding McConnel  (and the other ten Republicans)

JUST IN: Mitch says he won’t HELP “any future effort” by DEMS thanks to Schumer’s “HYSTERICS”.

Keep in mind that had Schumer not tap danced on McConnell’s leadership grave, McConnell would have issued no umbrage but been no less guilty of  helping the Democrat march to inculcate Marxist ideals.

Check out our previous post regarding the McConnell led Republican surrender squad as well.

Turtle sticks out his head to show his A**

Mitch McConnell a.k.a. “the turtle” a title promulgated if not coined by Rush Limbaugh pulled together a pathetic posse  of eleven Republicans to allow Democrats maneuvering room to pursue the gargantuan budget reconciliation bill comprised of elements that, whatever the initial financial size, will inculcate Marxist precepts and be difficult to remove.

McConnel had been signaling that anything the Democrats did would have to be on their own, that Republicans would not be part of it. That threat lasted a few weeks.

According to MSN:

Senate Democrats passed the $480 billion increase by a simple majority vote of 50-48. The vote on the final measure occurred after 11 GOP lawmakers joined Democrats in a vote to invoke cloture, clearing the 60-vote filibuster threshold.

The 11 Republicans who voted to allow the measure to proceed were Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, Minority Whip John Thune, John Cornyn, Lisa Murkowski, Shelley Moore Capito, Richard Shelby, Rob Portman, Susan Collins, John Barrasso, Mike Rounds and Roy Blunt.

This analysis at the Federalist by Christopher Jacobs who is well versed in difficult to follow Senate procedural maneuvers lays out what McConnell helped shepherd.

Mitch McConnell’s Surrender In The Debt Ceiling Fight Opens The Floodgates For Dem’s $3.5 Trillion Spending Bill

Republicans caving on the debt ceiling paved the way for Democrats to focus the rest of the fall on their tax-and-spending spree

It is suggested that McConnell feared the Democrats would go nuclear and end the filibuster but for this allowance.  We wonder why they would have to when McConnell and company can be expected to give them what they want under threat of doing so while actually retaining the filibuster for themselves.

We note that Senator Grassley was not part of this particular posse. Perhaps some commentary on that in a coming post.

Who’da thought . . . conflict of interest in the Biden Administration??

  • CONFLICT OF INTEREST!? IN THE BIDEN ADMINISTRATION? WHAT A SURPRISE!
  • GO TO THE LINK; READ THE WHOLE STORY
  • MAYBE NOT STARTING WITH OBAMA BUT UNDER HE AND BIDEN, CERTAINLY ENDORSED AND SPED UP, THE FBI AND THE JUSTICE DEPT. ARE TOTALLY CORRUPT UNDER GARLAND AND BIDEN!
  • ONE THING AMERICA CAN BE GRATEFUL TO Mitch McConnell FOR…Merrick Garland ISN’T ON THE Supreme Court !

Who would want to be called “ Xan”? (Mr. Xan (not his real name) Tanner (Garland’s son-in-law).    dlh   Probably the same ilk that want to inject new gender pronouns.

Well, well, well… This is interesting.  U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland recently instructed the FBI to begin investigating parents who confront school board administrators over Critical Race Theoryindoctrination material. The U.S. Department of Justice issued a memorandum to the FBI instructing them to initiate investigations of any parent attending a local school board meeting who might be viewed as confrontational, intimidating or harassing.

Attorney General Merrick Garland’s daughter is Rebecca Garland.  In 2018 Rebecca Garland married Xan Tanner [LINK].  Mr. Xan Tanner is the current co-founder of a controversial education service company called Panorama Education. First special session for Iowa redistricting over — should have been expanded to stop COVID related injection mandates by any employer

Redistricting

The Iowa legislature  as the result of a special session of the Iowa Senate determined that an initial  non-partisan redistricting plan should be scrapped at least in order to examine an alternative plan’s appropriateness.  That the legislature would not accede to the first iteration is anticipated in the process and not unusual.

Iowa Senate Rejects First Redistricting Map.

GOP lawmakers vote down Iowa’s 1st redistricting plan.

Iowa Republicans reject first redistricting maps.

The State Senate’s action made moot the State House taking up the matter.  They would have also dealt with the plan had the Senate moved it forward. The second iteration of a redistricting plan now becomes due in less than a month. The links above suggest many of the issues that came to the fore and resulted in the Senate turning the first  plan down.

We found the critiques of the initial plan compelling both as to federal and state legislative impacts, the number of legislators thrown together who will be forced into primaries, forced to move or retire and questionable adherence to other criteria set for state and federal redistricting.  The congressional redistricting was personally irksome as it put us in an even more bluish-purple congressional district.  The proposed district could be won by Republicans but three of the six counties in the state that Trump lost were in the iteration.  We are also not convinced of the good government logic of some of the criteria for redistricting and believe such formulaic approaches can have serious problems.

“Jab or no job”

Whether or not a finalized redistricting plan was in the cards for the first special session we believe the legislature had a profound obligation to deal with prospects of employer vaccine mandates.  Legislative leadership refused to schedule the topic for a proper resolution.

CHOSE NOT TO DO THE HARD THING: Rep. Jacobsen calls out legislature for lack of action on employer vaccine mandates.

Republican are in charge and had and have the power to expand a special session for compelling purposes.  LEADERSHIP FAILED TO LEAD. After dispatching their obligations as regards redistricting they should remain in session to deal with ominous implications of  employers in the state initiating arbitrary and capricious “no COVID jab no work” policies.

Mandates regarding COVID mRNA injections ought to be codified as contrary to Iowa health and employment protections.  The limited danger of the target disease (98% plus survival rate) and rushed mass injections of mRNA which has produced high unjustifiable risk /reward complication rates for much of the populace. The absence of  long term studies, the injection’s questionable efficacy, the implications of such intrusions on bodily integrity conspire to establish such mandates as a “cure” worse than the disease.

The limited if not outright denial of tort relief regarding the manufacture, use and imposition of these experimental inoculations is unconscionable. Universal “COVID related mandates by employers or businesses are wanting of a sound scientific or logic basis, fail to allow for alternative health options,  and most fail to provide religious, risk assessment, bodily integrity and health exemptions.   This is an emergency situation and the legislature needs to deal with it definitively.

BIDEN SAYS MANCHIN AND SINEMA BEING CONFRONTED BY ACTIVISTS …”HAPPENS TO EVERYBODY”…  ”Its part of the process”

As the Left Declares War on Sinema, Her People Say She Has a Nuclear Option of Her Own

—————————

The Fox News article:

President Biden responded to the confrontations Democratic Sens. Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema have faced in recent days amid their lack of support for critical items in his agenda, saying he doesn’t think the tactics used against them are “appropriate,” but said it is “part of the process.”

Activists confronted Manchin, D-W.Va., and Sinema, D-Ariz., over the weekend amid a fight to increase the debt ceiling and support Democrats’ $3.5 trillion spending bill.

When asked Monday for a response to the incidents, Biden said: “I don’t think they’re appropriate tactics, but it happens to everybody.”

“The only people it doesn’t happen to are the people who have Secret Service standing around them,” Biden said.
He added: “So, it’s part of the process.”

Manchin, who was on his boat over the weekend, was confronted by a group of kayakers.

“We’re working hard, we really are,” Manchin responds to the group. “We’re going to continue to in good faith. I really want to get a good bill that’s a balanced bill, that’s well done. And I know it won’t be enough for some. It will be too much for others in West Virginia.”

At issue is Manchin’s continued opposition to the size of the $3.5 trillion socialist spending bill championed by his party, which Manchin would like to see cut down to $1.5 trillion.

And Sinema, on Sunday, was confronted in a classroom at Arizona State University outside Phoenix. She was then followed into a bathroom, and filmed as she entered and closed a stall, as they argued she should back Democrats’ spending agenda.Sinema ignored them as they spoke – the sound of a flushing toilet at one point could be heard as they continued talking.

Sinema’s office released a statement Monday criticizing the behavior of the activists for disrupting her class and bothering her ASU students.

“Yesterday, several individuals disrupted my class at Arizona State University. After deceptively entering a locked, secure building, these individuals filmed and publicly posted videos of my students without their permission — including footage taken of both my students and I using a restroom,” she said.

Manchin and Sinema deserve some credit but they are more pragmatists than moderates

  • They want to get reelected and their states are not blue
  • While they show common sense they are not likely the nation’s salvation

Democrat Senators Manchin’s and Sinema’s refusal to support the level of spending and some other aspects to the Biden-Pelosi-Schumer-Bernie-AOC  $3.5 trillion plus “reconciliation bill” are undeniably causing the left much frustration, and in the process serving to at least expose the Democrat Party for its economic recklessness.

The Democrat leadership and the party’s radical base very much want all that is in the bill, and more, but after all the fury against Manchin and Sinema they are  in control of writing the specifics of the bill and while they will settle for less because of Manchin and Sinema they will still be able to start the reset of America. Manchin and Sinema are no heroes as they  continue to caucus with Democrats and thereby empower Schumer  and ultimately Pelosi and Biden and AOC giving them the power to work around and through their reticence.

After Manchin and Sinema compromise, and they likely will,  the Marxists will nevertheless still be in a position to implement the beginnings of radical programs building dependency and positioning themselves in future elections as the bulwark to prevent evil Republicans from taking away programs such as your “free” child care , your “free” college, clean water and air . . . you get the drift.

Unless at least one of them drops out of the Democrat party and caucuses with the Republicans this in the scheme of things is mostly theater, a sub-plot for their personal reelection, — an improvised scene the Demons don’t like — but as long as they have control of both houses of congress and the presidency the Demons are still in a position to determine the denouement.

Still if there is a heavenly prospect in the two senators sincerity it would be if implementation is delayed enough (every month counts) AND Republicans remain unified in delay and opposition. Every month counts and Pelosi has announced the next vote for the end of this new month. If Republicans hold together the republic will be that much closer to turning Democrats out in the midterms and in a position to rescind or delay some  future authorizations as much as possible until the 2024 presidential election.

Because Dem leadership and their allies really do want to start the ball rolling on the great reset they are very upset with Manchin and Sinema as the compromise those two  are in a position to force lends exposure and delay which is harmful short and long-term to the Marxist cause.  However they also know even with less money the programs subverting America can still proceed.

That is the  problem tragedy because if Republicans are short of a veto proof majority  in at least one house after the midterms the Democrats though in a minority will still be in a strong position to defend against any effort to subvert Biden by overcoming a veto.

Senator Manchin has set his reconciliation figure at 1.5 trillion. Who thinks he will not compromise to at least $1.99 trillion and let most of the Marxist inspired programs move forward?  He says he will also insist on the Hyde amendment.  Will he?  The Demon leadership may even give him that for now.  But understand well that there are no moderates in the Democrat Party when all are responsible for empowering the Marxist takeover.  There are only a few pragmatists toward their own reelection.  For the sake of the country one of them needs to bolt the Demon party now.    R Mall

Here’s What Joe Manchin’s Statement Against $3.5T ‘Build Back Better’ Plan Really Means

By J.D. Rucker • Sep. 29, 2021

Senator Joe Manchin may be the deciding vote in the most massive legislation our nation has ever seen, and judging by his latest statement it appears he’s siding, at least in part, with fiscal responsibility rather than Modern Monetary Theory. I’ll explain what his statement really means, but let’s read it all first:

Every Member of Congress has a solemn duty to vote for what they believe is best for the country and the American people, not their party. Respectfully, as I have said for months, I can’t support $3.5 trillion more in spending when we have already spent $5.4 trillion since last March. At some point, all of us, regardless of party must ask the simple question – how much is enough?

What I have made clear to the President and Democratic leaders is that spending trillions more on new and expanded government programs, when we can’t even pay for the essential social programs, like Social Security and Medicare, is the definition of fiscal insanity. Suggesting that spending trillions more will not have an impact on inflation ignores the everyday reality that America’s families continue pay an unavoidable inflation tax. Proposing a historic expansion of social programs while ignoring the fact we are not in a recession and that millions of jobs remain open will only feed a dysfunction that could weaken our economic recovery. This is the shared reality we all now face, and it is this reality that must shape the future decisions that we, as elected leaders, must make.

Since the beginning of this reconciliation debate, I have been consistent in my belief that any expansion of social programs must be targeted to those in need, not expanded beyond what is fiscally possible. Our tax code should be reformed to fix the flaws of the 2017 tax bill and ensure everyone pays their fair share but it should not weaken our global competitiveness or the ability of millions of small businesses to compete with the Amazons of the world. Overall, the amount we spend now must be balanced with what we need and can afford – not designed to reengineer the social and economic fabric of this nation or vengefully tax for the sake of wishful spending.

In August, I recommended we take a strategic pause to provide time to develop the right policies and to continue to monitor how the pandemic and economic factors are affecting our nation’s fiscal situation before we spend more. Throughout September, I have made it clear to all those who would listen the need to means test any new social programs so that we are helping those who need it the most, not spend for the sake of spending.

While I am hopeful that common ground can be found that would result in another historic investment in our nation, I cannot – and will not – support trillions in spending or an all or nothing approach that ignores the brutal fiscal reality our nation faces. There is a better way and I believe we can find it if we are willing to continue to negotiate in good faith.

***Support The Liberty Daily and Mike Lindell — use code TLD at MyPillow.com and get up to 66% off!***
If there is one final lesson that will continue to guide me in this difficult debate ahead it is this: America is a great nation but great nations throughout history have been weakened by careless spending and bad policies. Now, more than ever, we must work together to avoid these fatal mistakes so that we may fulfill our greatest responsibility as elected leaders and pass on a better America to the next generation.

The left has tried to frame his dissent as him being bought by corporate interests. This is the standard gaslighting; corporate interests have no role in Manchin’s decision. But those on the right who think he’s being a good pseudo-Republican are wrong about him as well. He’s not saying he doesn’t support spending massive amounts of money. He just isn’t willing to spend $3.5 trillion.

If you love the news, check out The Liberty Daily’s homepage.
Lest we forget (and it’s easy to do considering the amount that has been spent over the last year and a half), even $1 trillion is a massive amount of money. Democrats and even some Republicans have attempted to downplay the economic impact of the unsustainable spending that has taken place and will continue to take place, but the reality is we’re talking about an undeniable paradigm shift in DC’s arithmetic. It wasn’t too long ago when the left was complaining about President Trump’s “massive” $20 billion plan to build the border wall. What they’re discussing now is 175 times higher than what they used to call “massive.”

Manchin knows there is tons of pork stuffed into this plan. He knows cuts can be made to get it under $2 trillion and have the same basic impact. As the man in the middle, that’s what he’s pushing for. The end result will still be bad, and we cannot dismiss that. Some on the right claim he’s saving America, but this will still end up being a damaging shot to the gut.

What we are seeing today is the embrace by everyone on the left and far too many on the right of Modern Monetary Theory. The short description of the failed fiscal policy is that a government essentially prints money to cover whatever it wants to buy. This is the pathway to economic ruin, especially for a nation like the United States. Once MMT takes hold, the dollar will be abandoned as both the world reserve currency and the preferred payment for oil. When the dollar is no longer a necessary part of the world economic system, our debt will absolutely crush us. It will be the end of the United States of America.

For Manchin to help delay our death sentence and mitigate some of the damages to prolong the economy while it’s on life support is good, but it doesn’t solve the problem. We need to drastically reduce spending and get people back to work instead of incentivizing them to stay home.

Kudos to Manchin for slowing the locomotive, but our future depends on stopping it altogether. Whether it’s $3.5T, $2T, or even $1T, it will be too much for our current economic state to handle.

Biden has stage presence afterall

We all saw the film clip of President Biden roll up his sleeve and bravely take a Covid ‘booster’ …right there on the grounds of the White Houe… in front of a window with a view of the beautiful White House landscape.

But, we later found out… “Joey’s Jab” was administered in a room, on a ‘movie set’ in which the “view” was painted on the “window” and back lit.

Just as fake as the surroundings in this ‘photo op’ are, why would we conclude that Joe Biden actually got a booster shot?

Mr. Biden has, in the short period he has been in the presidency , already established his ‘legacy’ as the most dishonest, distrusted, most lying chief executive in the nation’s history.

If you need a recounting of all the lies and misleading statements the “Scranton Scrapper” has made, or you believe his remarks about our border, the Afghanistan debacle, his superb handling of the economy, his claimed status as a “moderate”, then I have the humble home in which ‘Corn Pop’ was born and raised.

I will sell it to you for a “steal”, and, one day that property will pay off big time as the home of the first bad guy who suffered humiliation and physical punishment from Rowdy Joey Robinette!   dlh

Related comments and some satire from social media and elsewhere:

Joe is a resident of Shady Acres old folks home for Alzheimers treatment and can’t be in the White House, so they brought the White House to him. And if he stays calm, he can have an ice cream afterwards.

Why is it staged like this? Kind of like a movie..weird

They lie and mislead for no good reason – just to do so

I KNEW IT. It’s only a farcical, fictional comedy being filmed on location in DC.

Whew, for a moment I thought it was the actual destruction of the US. You almost got me Hollywood

Meet Senator Grassley’s good friend BIF

You remember the bipartisan infrastructure bill, a.k.a. “BIF”* as in Bipartisan Infrastructure Framework, the parliamentary planned stalking horse for the even more gargantuan $3.2 trillion “reconciliation” bill (as in reconciling America to Marxism).

It is still not passed, no thanks to Chuck Grassley but we suspect it will along with a reduced reconciliation bill to a traffic bearing amount of say $1.99 trillion (so it is not quite “trillions” to suit Manchin) on the low end, to say $2.8 trillion which may be the magic number for enough skittish other Democrats. The $3.2 was a high hurdle but likely set high to allow for face-saving compromise to more assuradly achieve basically all they need to implement their Marxist programs including daycare, free college, the big green reset, etc. even if reduced.

Pelosi says Biden’s infrastructure bill can’t wait for social safety net bill.

‘We Aren’t Bluffing’: Progressives Hold the Line as Pelosi Moves Ahead With Bipartisan Bill

Our Senator Chuck Grassley was one of 16 or so Republicans who championed BIF in the  Senate, enthusiastically we might add, thumbing his nose at the great majority of his Republican colleagues who opposed the bill for what it portends.  Grassley’s rationalization included that his vote was appropriate out of a commitment to regular order but especially some goodies for Iowa (that would come in due course anyway). But hey one needs to be identified as the guy that brings home the pork. Unfortunately for Iowa the pork is seriously tainted (and in more ways than just this).  Call it “trickonus”

Oh Yes, There’s a Tax Hike That Will Clobber Rural Americans in This Infrastructure Bill.
