Another “Barr Investigation”

“BARR AUTHORIZES PROBE OF ALLEGATIONS OF VOTING IRREGULARITIES IN ELECTION”

Well…I’m really assured by this.

Another “Barr Investigation”..I wonder who will he assign to this. Can’t be John Durham, he’s still ‘working a “case” from 2016’. Can’t be John Huber…he just kind of disappeared (but Barr ‘eventually’ told us. See the May, 2019 story below. An excerpt, “Barr said that Huber is currently wrapping up an investigation related to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and has not been involved for months in anything related to the Russia probe.“The other issues he’s been working on relate to Hillary Clinton. Those are winding down and hopefully we’ll be in a position to bring those to fruition,” said Barr…”) Note: Do you recall hearing about Huber’s report on his “exhausting investigation”? Did Hillary go to jail as a result?

Mr. Barr must be busy bringing everything to “fruition”.

To me, it’s becoming somewhat clear that what we need is an “investigation” of William Barr!        dlh

BARR AUTHORIZES PROBE OF ALLEGATIONS OF VOTING IRREGULARITIES IN ELECTION

Attorney General Bill Barr has authorized a Justice Department probe of allegations of “voting irregularities” — despite little evidence of voting fraud in the 2020 presidential election, a report said Monday.

The Associated Press reported the move by Barr Monday evening, but did not provide specifics on what the probe would focus on or what allegations they would investigate.
President Trump and his personal attorney Rudy Giuliani have repeatedly made broad allegations of voter fraud in a number of states, but have not provided evidence for their claims.

Trump has filed lawsuits in a number of states that he either lost to former Vice President Joe Biden or is trailing in the vote count as the final ballots are tallied.
Biden secured his electoral college victory over Trump in the 2020 election with his projected win in Pennsylvania and Nevada on Saturday.

Biden is leading Trump in Arizona and Georgia, states that he will have flipped Democratic if he’s ultimately victorious in them.

What Is John Huber Up To? William Barr Finally Tells Us

Attorney General William Barr has finally settled an enduring mystery: Where is John Huber?

Huber, the U.S. attorney in Utah, was appointed by Barr’s predecessor, Jeff Sessions, in March 2018 to investigate whether the FBI and Justice Department’s handling of the politically-charged Trump and Clinton investigations.

One focus of the probe was whether the FBI misled the federal surveillance court in applications for spy warrants against Carter Page.

But Huber has conducted his investigation largely out of public view, leading to widespread speculation about what he was actually doing. Even members of Congress have questioned what Huber was investigating, or if he was leading an investigation at all. House Republicans sent Huber a letter asking him about the status of his investigation in January.

“Your investigation has been ongoing for over nine months,” Republican Reps. Doug Collins, Jim Jordan and Mark Meadows wrote Huber on Jan. 7.

“During the course of our extensive investigation we have interviewed more than a dozen current and former DOJ and FBI personnel, and were surprised to hear none of these potentially informative witnesses testified to speaking with you.”

Barr answered many of those questions in an interview with CBS News.

Barr said that Huber is currently wrapping up an investigation related to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and has not been involved for months in anything related to the Russia probe.“The other issues he’s been working on relate to Hillary Clinton. Those are winding down and hopefully we’ll be in a position to bring those to fruition,” said Barr, who did not describe the Clinton probe.Huber was also initially tasked with reviewing the surveillance warrant applications taken out against Page, a former Trump campaign adviser. The investigation focused on whether the FBI misled the federal surveillance court by relying on the unverified Steele dossier to obtain spy warrants against Page.

RELATED: Who Is John Durham?)

But Huber was sidelined while Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz investigated the surveillance issue, according to Barr.“And he was essentially on standby in case Mr. Horowitz referred a matter to him to be handled criminally,” Barr told CBS.Barr told Congress in April that he expected Horowitz’s investigation to wrap up this month or next.

Since then, Barr appointed another U.S. attorney, John Durham, to take over the investigation that was initially handled by Huber.

“So he has not been active on this front in recent months and so Durham is taking over that role,” Barr said of Huber.

Barr has said that he is investigating government agencies’ surveillance activities against the Trump campaign. As part of that effort, Barr asked Trump to grant him the authority to declassify documents related to those surveillance activities. He also asked Trump to direct various government agencies, including the CIA and FBI, to provide documents as part of the investigation.

OBSERVATIONS OF A ‘LYING DOG FACED PONY SOLDIER’: ‘history is written by the winners’

OBSERVATIONS OF A ‘LYING DOG FACED PONY SOLDIER’:

Perhaps we”ve said it before, but now, the reality is here. Barring a near-miracle,* Joe Biden will be the 46th President of the United States. Attorney General Willian Barr now definitely has some ‘splainin’ to do, we believe.

Mr. Barr was charged with the investigation into alleged attempts by the Obama-Biden administration to:

a) derail the candidacy of Donald Trump for president in 2016 by spying on his campaign,

b) undermine the duly elected presidency and administration of President Trump

c) in effect, overthrow the government of the United States
————-

AG Barr’s “investigation” began in May 2019; he named John Durham, a widely reputed ‘superb investigator’ to conduct the probe.  A mountain of ‘evidence’ had been revealed and provided by highly credible news sources…all of which would be investigated…presumably.

As the ‘investigation’ proceeded, the 2020 presidential election loomed.

In addition to the attempts by the previous administration to undermine and overthrow Trump’s administration, solid evidence surfaced which indicated possible serious wrongdoing on the part of the 2020 Democrat nominee for the presidency, Joe Biden. In December, 2019,he FBI came into possession of a laptop (w/hard drive) which seemed to implicate Mr. Biden and his son; It seemed apparent that a ‘pay to play scheme’ that used the family name to advance personal interests with a U.S. rival, possibly jeopardizing national security. (It is unclear if the FBI investigated but, if it did, nothing has been disclosed to the American people).

At first, Barr indicated that there may be solid evidence of serious wrong doing on the part of the Obama-Biden administration and that national security and federal law enforcement agencies , even the FISA court, may have been compromised. He was quoted as noting that stories told by previous administration figures “did not hang together”, combined with a critical report by the DOJ’ Inspector General. Barr committed to “getting to the bottom of it”.

Barr began to hedge early in the spring of ’20, however, but still indicated that the investigation by his “crack” investigator would be completed by the end of summer…later, at least a “report” on the investigation would be released to the American people by then.

Still later, however, the intrepid, courageous , no-nonsense, man of superb legal skills and and unbelievable integrity disclosed that nothing would be released before the election. It was a around that time that Mr. Durham’s renowned asst. counsel quit the investigation, complaining , we understand, that ‘there was a lot of pressure to complete the probe before the election’!

Gee! How unreasonable was that?!

Barr received a lot of criticism for even conducting his review of the Obama-Biden regime in the first place, much less trying to complete it before the election.

So…who could blame this man of “incredible courage” for backing off? He had also been criticized for giving $2700 to Trump’s 2016 campaign. But, then he did also give to a political action committee that supported Jeb Bush $55,000 for his ’16 Primary efforts (which Trump won). (Mr. Bush has since extended hearty congratulations to Mr. Biden for his ’20 electoral “victory”)

So, Mr. Barr must believe, with voters considering their choices of who will lead their nation for the next 4 years, “what difference could it make to conceal results of an investigation into credible evidence indicating that one of the two major candidates for president may be guilty of serious crimes. Crimes which would threaten national security and/or the integrity of the nation’s law enforcement apparatus?”

To Mr Barr, apparently, “What’s the big deal?”

As a man of ‘impeccable judgment, extremely wholesome character, and extraordinary legal talent’, who could blame Mr. Barr for not wanting to risk that lofty reputation by being criticized for “politicizing” the Justice Department?”

Of course, these questions and matters are now irrelevant as the American people likely will never learn if there was any validity to the allegations of wrongdoing by those soon to be in control of our federal government.

Thank you, Attorney General William Barr. Yours, Just one of 70 million or so ‘lying dog-faced pony soldiers’.                  dlh

*ed note:  Don’t get us wrong. We remember the 2000 election.  We believe that much is left to be revealed about fraud and will continue to work to force some miracles. Whaddayagunnadoaboutit? Keep working for “Trumpism” and against leftism’s takeover attempt.

No evidence of institutional integrity

The MSM’s (incl. Fox’s?) favorite phrase:

“Trump and allies have repeatedly claimed, without evidence, that the election is being “stolen” due to widespread voter fraud.”

WHERE HAVE ALL AMERICA’S GREAT INSTITUTIONS GONE? (“Long Time Passing”, as Peter Paul& Mary might say? More commentary below)

All the ‘progressive’ pundits, RINOs, leftist spokespersons, and “favorite Fox personalities”, like Jedediah Bila (JB) are very, very “concerned” that the Trump folks are trying to make all those good solid patriotic Americans, lose “confidence” in the ‘electoral system’, and in all those wonderful USA institutions.

I call out “Jedediah” specifically, but not because she’s anybody’s’ favorite’ . Rather, I regret, she is probably the “new face’ of FOX News Network (FNN)…and it is not a “pretty face”.

Saturday morning, Bila put on quite a show for viewers. I thought that somehow my TV had ‘flipped’ channels from Fox to CNN. There was a female ‘anchorette’ ranting ferociously about Trump and his supporters claiming there was ‘election fraud’, “without evidence”…”baseless charges”, etc, etc, and etc.. She snarled at viewers that such claims tended to make people ‘lose confidence’ in our electoral system. I noticed, then, that her two co-anchors were familiar, Pete Hegseth and Will Cain!… and I realized it wasn’t CNN. Pete and Will tried unsuccessfully for an overly-extended time to get a word in but “Jed” was not to be interrupted.

I realized then, that my TV wasn’t on the wrong channel…Jedediah was!

More importantly though, it occurred to me, that to a small extent, Ms. Bila, was correct…not because Trump and his supporters had “tended to” make me lose confidence in the electoral system, but rather because I had lost confidence on my own, as have many fellow Americans…and not just in our electoral system, but on a whole lot of heretofore traditional, respected, greatly accomplished American institutions.

They included such cherished and revered institutions as the entire Justice system, including the FBI, the Supreme Court, the military, the judiciary in general, the education system, from K-12 to the “highest” higher educational institutions! And religious values and institutions? What happened to them?

And, as far as that goes, the American values…competition, hard work, ambition, fair play…many of these are now characterized as “evidence of racism… dog whistles”!!!???##

Again, ‘Where have all our values gone?’

They’ve not gone, or receded, because Donald Trump focused attention on their fading presence in American life. Rather, it was because his efforts to restore them to their former place were thwarted by the bad behavior of those very same institutions, including that other once-revered institution, ‘the Press”. And, by the indifference of a large part of the American people .

Why did 1250 former ‘Justice Dept’ employees* write to call for investigation of Attorney General Barr***, and, our highest military officers and Defense Dept. leaders “formally protest” President Trump appearing before a church, vandalized by rioters, in order to defend religious values, as a “photo op”* ?!

Where is the Justice Dept, as real, more than ‘anecdotal’, evidence emerges regarding rampant election fraud? Or apparent wrongdoing by a former Vice President of the USA? Why are investigations of possible serious, criminal federal government interference in administrations of other duly elected presidencies removed, unresolved from public view and voter awareness?

And, why did USAID retirees sign a letter of support for State Department officials testifying in Trump impeachment inquiry?#

We don’t hear of retired FBI personnel write letters in President Trump’s defense, despite the obvious misconduct by the former Director and key agency leaders and the incompetence of the current director.

We don’t hear of retired ‘warrior generals’ and other former high ranking veterans defending Trump’s efforts to restore America’s greatness.

Maybe that explains in part ‘where America’s Great Institutions have gone’.         dlh

**Over 400 ex-DOJ employees sign letter protesting Whitaker appointment (Wash. Times)

***More than 1,900 former Justice Department employees on Monday repeated a call for William P. Barr to step down as attorney general, asserting in an open letter he had “once again assaulted the rule of law” by moving to drop the case against President Trump’s former national security adviser Michael Flynn. How utterly corrupt. How utterly pathetic

First the utterly corrupt

Media outlets led by AP and Fox News “declare” Biden/Harris victors. They are corrupt. There is no winner when votes adequate to change any purported winner remain uncounted or under serious challenge.  A succinct timely response came our way offered by Catholic Vote.  It reads:

CatholicVote President Brian Burch issued the following statement following today’s media declaration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as the winners of the 2020 election:

“This election is far from over, and no American should accept the outcome until states certify their results, and all legal challenges have been resolved. The American people are entitled to the assurance that every legal vote was counted, and that irregularities did not have any impact on the election outcome.

“Premature declarations of a winner only serve to inflame the already deep divisions within our country. The media does not decide the winner of our elections. We have laws and courts for a reason. It’s important to note that multiple states are still counting ballots, with recounts likely. In addition, the courts are now reviewing several lawsuits, with more expected in the coming days. The outcome of these cases could alter the vote tallies in several states.

“We call on county officials in key contested states to immediately publish the full voter roll so that observers can resolve questions related to ballot and voter irregularities. These voter rolls are always made public months after the election, yet today remain hidden. Failure to make them available now is shielding the public from critical information to which they are entitled.”

The utterly pathetic:

The Iowa GOP has still not published at this writing any Trump related news about the clear efforts at voter fraud in various states and his campaign’s various state challenges including in the courts. This is Saturday November 7th and there have not been any posts since some time on the 5th and only to congratulate a few winners with no news about the overall picture.  Here are screen grabs from the RPI website, Facebook and Twitter from just moments ago.

A GOOD QUESTION — REGARDING OUR ATTORNEY GENERAL

WHERE’S BARR? We think he’s found Hunter…but, where’s he?

“It’s disgusting and it’s pathetic, but it’s also what we’ve come to expect from a ‘Justice’ Department whose primary law enforcement agency, the FBI, was completely politicized by the Obama-led deep state and remains so to this day.

“Where is our Department of Justice? Where are the institutions in our government that are supposed protect us and safeguard us? Why is it up to the American people to do jobs of people in government who are paid to do these jobs, to defend and protect the Constitution? They all swear an oath to do that,” conservative talk radio boss Rush Limbaugh said on his Thursday program.”

Calls Increase for Justice Department, AG Barr to Intervene in Election Chaos
As Democratic secretaries of state and state courts continue to change election rules and extending voting deadlines at will, in violation of state statutes, calls are increasing for the U.S. Justice Department to get involved in the legal fights being waged to enforce those laws.

But so far, the DoJ and Attorney General William Barr have been silent, letting President Donald Trump and his campaign on an island to swing it out with courts and states hell-bent on stealing this election from him.

It’s disgusting and it’s pathetic, but it’s also what we’ve come to expect from a ‘Justice’ Department whose primary law enforcement agency, the FBI, was completely politicized by the Obama-led deep state and remains so to this day.

“Where is our Department of Justice? Where are the institutions in our government that are supposed protect us and safeguard us? Why is it up to the American people to do jobs of people in government who are paid to do these jobs, to defend and protect the Constitution? They all swear an oath to do that,” conservative talk radio boss Rush Limbaugh said on his Thursday program.

Those are all great questions, and frankly, they need to be answered.

The crew over at Red State dug into what could be done about the Democratic voter fraud that is obviously taking place in key battleground states, and this is what they found: There are avenues for the Justice Department to intervene to ensure that things are made right before this entire election is taken from the president and his legions of supporters.

Title 18, United States Code, Section 595 states:  Whoever, being a person employed in any administrative position by the United States, or by any department or agency thereof, or by the District of Columbia or any agency or instrumentality thereof, or by any State, Territory, or Possession of the United States, or any political subdivision, municipality, or agency thereof, or agency of such political subdivision or municipality (including any corporation owned or controlled by any State, Territory, or Possession of the United States or by any such political subdivision, municipality, or agency), in connection with any activity which is financed in whole or in part by loans or grants made by the United States, or any department or agency thereof, uses his official authority for the purpose of interfering with, or affecting, the nomination or the election of any candidate for the office of President, Vice President, Presidential elector, Member of the Senate, Member of the House of Representatives, Delegate from the District of Columbia, or Resident Commissioner, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both.

Title 52, United States Code, Section 20511 states: § 20511. Criminal penalties: A person, including an election official, who in any election for Federal office—
….
(2) knowingly and willfully deprives, defrauds, or attempts to deprive or defraud the residents of a State of a fair and impartially conducted election process, by—

(A) the procurement or submission of voter registration applications that are known by the person to be materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent under the laws of the State in which the election is held; or

(B) the procurement, casting, or tabulation of ballots that are known by the person to be materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent under the laws of the State in which the election is held, shall be fined in accordance with title 18 (which fines shall be paid into the general fund of the Treasury, miscellaneous receipts (pursuant to section 3302 of title 31), notwithstanding any other law), or imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both.

So, clearly, there are avenues for the Justice Department to intervene when there is suspected fraud – and that appears to be exactly what’s going on in Michigan, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Nevada at this hour.

Again – where is AG Barr?            dlh

Too Fishy

The Federalist article sums up the fishiness we smell — how does Trumpism, the conservative national populism, which we believe motivated the Republican turn-out, obtain such good down-race results and not result in a Trump victory?  Anomalies here and there, sure, insufficient Republican voter information to some extent, sure, but who votes for a conservative Republican down-race and Biden-Harris.  The disconnect is too goofy.  It would seem to warrant just the opposite in battleground rust-belt states and Arizona.    V’PAC

GOP’s 2020 Wins Make A Projected Trump Loss Look Very Fishy Indeed

Since Joe Biden was picked to be the Democratic Party’s presidential puppet, we have been told he would win the presidency by a blowout. Political media has been speculating eagerly about another “blue wave” that would wash over the nation in line with their preposterous polls showing Biden winning by as much as 17 or even more points.

Two weeks before the election, the “nonpartisan” Cook’s Political Report predicted an expanded Democrat majority in the House, a “net gain of five to ten seats to a gain of between five and 15 seats.” On election day, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and House Democrat campaign chairwoman Rep. Cheri Bustos predicted Democrats “would not only defend gains made in 2018 but flip districts thought to be in safe Republican territory.”

Last week, Democrats told the Washington Post, which described the party as “awash in cash,” they expected to flip as many as 15 House seats on Biden’s presumed presidential coattails. That didn’t happen at all. In fact, the opposite did. Now as localities run by Democrats “count” votes under suspicious circumstances, we are supposed to believe that voters selected coattails detached from a coat?

Republicans have flipped seven U.S. House races so far and Democrats flipped two, according to RealClearPolitics. That narrows Democrats’ hold on the House from 232 to 227, nine more than the majority, even if no more are flipped. Republicans could even ultimately flip 15, as many as Democrats had hoped to.

Republicans had twice as many Senate seats to defend this election than Democrats did, and they currently appear to retain their Senate majority. So far, Democrats have flipped one seat. Far poorer-funded Republicans retained seats Democrats literally spent hundreds of millions of dollars to flip, such as Sen. Susan Collins of Maine, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, and Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina.

At the state level, USA Today reports, Democrats also failed to flip seats they had targeted, again usually with more money than Republicans. The only gubernatorial flip went from Democrat to Republican, in Montana. In congressional and state House races in Texas, Republicans also retained their majorities despite massive outside funding and high-profile targeting from Democrats.

“Democrats had methodically targeted seat pickup opportunities in several legislative chambers to flip party control in Arizona, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Texas,” USA Today says. “While some statehouse seats are still being tallied, Republicans held onto control of many of those places, notably in North Carolina’s state House and Senate. Texas, considered one of the biggest flip opportunities, also stayed red. Republicans likely will hold key voting majorities in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Michigan ahead of reapportionment next year” (emphasis added).

Politico, the voice of establishment Democrat wisdom in DC, headlined its Wednesday Playbook newsletter, “What blue wave?” “Tuesday was an abject disaster for Democrats in Washington,” it said. “…We fielded text after text from Hill Democrats Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning with existential questions about their leadership and the direction of their party. Democrats told us in the weeks and months leading up to Election Day that they were on track to win the majority in the Senate, and they don’t appear poised to do that” despite setting forest fires to campaign cash.

In the end, “Republicans could have a net gain of 10 House seats,” Politico claims, squeezing Democrats’ majority. So far, the only two Democrat House pickups in the country are from redistricting in North Carolina. Republicans will win every “expected to win easily” seat, haven’t lost a single “expected to win narrowly” seat, and are ahead in all but three of the 27 “tossup” races.

Meanwhile, Republicans have already flipped three seats that were supposed to be narrow Democrat wins and are ahead in several others, and may even flip one of the “easy Democrat win” races.

This all means we saw an amazing night for Republicans on Tuesday. Toss atop that eight months of destabilizing coronavirus psychological operations on the American people designed to steal the presidency after other coup methods failed.

Then look at some odd differences between this amazing night for Republicans in downballot races and the incongruent results for Trump in just a few key states — key states that happen to be the ones everyone knew would be crucial to Trump’s path to victory, and all of which began to have “voting irregularities” and pauses in vote counting as Trump appeared to command the lead while closing in on final vote totals.

Biden was projected to win by a significant margin in all of the states on which the election now hangs (all these vote counts were as of Wednesday night and according to RealClearPolitics). There appears to be no relation to polling averages versus actual election night returns — the current vote tallies are in bold at top, to compare to the wildly inaccurate polling averages in the graphs below.

Information vacuum at Republican Party of Iowa

Sheesh

Nothing official on the RPI website (featured or in press release section), FaceBook or Twitter at this writing (early evening of November 5th) nearly two days after the election as regards the following:

Democrat election fraud activities against Trump nationwide and how we might support efforts to insure integrity of the vote

What the status is of the Iowa House and Senate

How county elections went in this state

How the ballot issue and judicial retention elections went

All that is apparent is some individual  posters congratulating the three congressional candidates who won and Joni Ernst.

If Biden Prevails, ‘President Harris’ Will Owe it All to William Barr

“…that dirty little coward
That shot Mr. Howard
Has laid (poor) Jesse in his grave”  *

If Biden Prevails, ‘President Harris’ Will Owe it All to William Barr

THE Attorney General Who Went From a Possibly Courageous ‘Horatius At The Gate’ to a traitorous ‘Bob’ Ford*

From courageous testimony before Congress and a captivating TV interview with Mark Levin, to a deafening silence on the scandal that wrongly damaged a consequential presidency, William Barr transformed himself from an ‘Icon of the Rule of Law’ to a caricature of a cowardly backstabber.

* Bob Ford was a close ‘friend’ of “J.D.Howard”…a ‘close friend’ until he shot “Mr. Howard” in the back to collect some reward money…he thus became memorialized in the “Ballad of Jesse James”, and widely known as “the dirty little coward who shot Mr. Howard and (has) laid poor Jesse in his grave”.

Now, there are some who would be happy to liken William Barr to ‘Bob’ Ford as an opportunity to characterize President Donald Trump as Jesse James.

In our view, however, it is neither necessary, nor fair, to portray Mr. Trump as a villainous fugitive bank-robber in order to accurately depict Attorney General Barr as a “backstabbing ‘once trusted’ subordinate”.

President Trump named Barr to the vital federal government position of Attorney General, succeeding the inept Jeff Sessions, because of his widely acclaimed reputation for integrity and commitment to justice and to the ‘rule of law’.

Upon accepting the position, it was Barr himself who declared that his first objective was to get to the bottom of the so-called “Russia Collusion Hoax” which had severely damaged the Trump presidency throughout its first 2 years. Barr told congress that major parts of the story told by members of the House and figures in the federal law enforcement apparatus during the Obama administration “didn’t hang together”. Barr suggested that there had been serious wrong-doing, possible corruption, and criminality involved and that he would doggedly pursue an investigation.

In public appearances, Mr. Barr was impressive and persuasive. If you were one who believed that people including CIA Director James Brennan, National Security head James Clapper, and the FBI’s James Comey, as well as key members of the Obama regime , including Vice President Joe Biden, and even Obama himself were corrupt and probably guilty of serious crimes, you were very reassured that Bill Barr, a former very successful and honored Attorney General would again, be the right guy for that job.

It was May, 2019, when Barr appointed another highly regarded figure, one widely recognized as a premier investigator… John Durham… to head the “Russia Investigation”.

And, right up until mid-summer, 2020, America was led to believe that the many very serious questions and issues involved with the “Russia Hoax” would be resolved…and justice would be done before the November, 2020, presidential election.

The rest, as they say, is history!

And not a history that America can be proud of !

After being asked by the press many times why there was but one report of possible wrongdoing associated with the Russia hoax by a minor player, and that from the DOJ Inspector General, not Barr, the Attorney General advised the American people he expected Durham’e probe to be concluded and a ‘report to America’ made “by the end of summer”.

As most people know, the ‘end of summer’ came and went…and no announcement by the Justice department.

In our view, William Barr not only failed to live up to his “impeccable” reputation and vaunted credentials, but has actually been a disgrace.

The Dept. Of Justice and the FBI are now an embarrassment to the world.

William Barr has not only set aside his alleged “high regard” for law and justice ; he has demonstrated a cowardice perhaps unrivaled in American political history.

Barr feared that he would be accused of “politicizing” his authority if he revealed to the American people that his investigation had found evidence of serious corruption on the part of a nominee for the presidency in a coming national election.

And thus, a candidate, under a “dark” cloud of suspicion, based upon mountains of evidence revealed by reliably objective, competent journalists was allowed to stand before the American voters for election to the highest office of the land. Solid evidence strongly suggested that crimes of the most serious nature were committed by former Vice President, Joe Biden and other key figures in the Obama administration, and they were aimed at undoing a valid election, undermining a duly elected presidency, overthrowing the government of the USA, and enriching themselves at the expense of the nation’s security.

But Mr. Barr opted to keep under wraps whatever findings and conclusions his “investigation” may have reached regarding any substance to those allegations and to allow the possibility that an apparently guilty individual could be elected to the presidency and thus be ‘out of reach’ of promptly, or even eventual, applied justice.

Or…to give Mr. Biden full benefit of the doubt… perhaps the “investigation” found no evidence of wrongdoing on anyone’s part, and thus Barr could have allayed the threat to the American people’s confidence in its justice system !

Mr. Barr certainly owed the American people, and the previous administration, that revelation as well.

Mr. Barr not only refused to reveal any findings of his ‘investigation” but, in the months since his confirmation, also allowed a completely unfounded impeachment to proceed and the presidential election involving candidates who were allegedly deeply involved in the scandalous activity of a previous administration, to occur.

Voters went to the polls this week, having a choice between President Trump and a candidate clearly, for a variety of reasons, uniquely unsuited for any responsible government position. Widely accepted as well, is the belief that Joe Biden, for reasons well publicized, if elected, is not likely to serve more than a fraction of his term as president and will be replaced by his potential Vice President, Kamala Harris…a person whose own Party rejected, out of hand, her presidential candidacy

However this election turns out, it is our opinion that William Barr exhibited an extraordinary dereliction of duty out of fear of criticism from a morally bankrupt political party.

How the hell does one go from investigating to determine if one presidential administration’s actions sought to overturn its successor’s election… to keeping silent on its findings and stands by to allow a member of the former, allegedly guilty administration, to be elected to head a succeeding administration?            dlh

Pins and Needles Presidential Election Scott County Results

Nine states still not called/counted.  Biden leads for now in Electoral College

Trump wins Iowa handily as does Joni Ernst.

Iowa flips Congressional delegation back to Republican.  Hinson wins 1st CD beating incumbent Finkenaur   Miller-Meeks looks to have won 2nd CD narrowly 196769 to Hart’s 196,487 (open seat)  Feenstra handily beats Schlten out west (open seat).  Dave Young loses to Dem incumbent Axne by 6000 votes (fairly narrow).

Of Iowa’s 99 counties Trump won all but five counties  (the usual suspects –  Scott, Linn, Polk, Johnson and Story)  Several of these were lost by large margins.  Ernst won all but nine counties, the five plus one or two of four others narrowly.

Turnout in Scott County was 70.03 %.  In 2016 the turnout was 68.5%

Trump lost Scott County in 2020 47.18% to Biden’s  50.67%

Trump lost Scott County in 2016   45.41% to Hillary’s 46.90%
